Beginner Producer Help!

Ive been producing music for about 2 years now, and recently wanted to get into making trance.

is there any advice out there to where i should start?

any good samples, mixing techniques, artist to look for inspiration?

any help would be appreciated!

Yeah, first tip would be to learn what a DJ is, and how that's different from a producer!

I am not really familiar with that, but I've heard about a free beat making software that will help you to make beats and produce tracks in any genre including trance.
