Follow the New Leader<------ -
For the first time America is dictating the world's favorite Electronica Music trend. Namely Los Angeles, where I live, progressive has been King for the past year+. Satoshi Tomiie , Max Graham , Steve Lawler, Sander Kleininberger, Sasha, Deep Dish, Saeed n Palash, Dave Seaman, Danny Howells, and more are the major draws in LA's dance clubbing scene. Its gotten to a point that people are slowly getting tired of the basic 4/4 kick drum beat. Meanwhile, Tiesto quietly sneeks in more and more progressive tracks into his sets and for further notice, his whole latest album In Search of Sunrise 3 "ISOS3", along with Paul Oakenfold. We would like to welcome the rest of the world *BACK* to progressive.
hmmm
Well.....
... I don't really care what is going on in America
greets

Sorry mate, even though my favourite DJ's are Japanese (Yoji Biomehanika and Ken Ishii), I realise that the European scene is the "leader", specially UK, NL and DE
prog has been around the US alot.
why? because people in the US dont like good music distracting them from "clubbing"

You live in US. you guys dont listen to trance much, they call every electronica music TECHNO. USA is for cheeeessssssseyyyyyyy Progresive trance so dont post any stupid threads like this one.(and one more thing USA listens to Hip Hop and that kinda stupid shit) Enough said

As soon as i read the opening post i knew what was coming.
I'm not so sure that Prog is all that big. I mean it's not small either, but i get the impression that (at least here in Perth) Breaks are the "thang" at the moment among the trendy-dance types.
As far as dance music goes prog isn't really for me. I much prefer breaks or DnB or even full on trance. I don't tihnk it's fast enough or has enough 'dance floor energy'. It's great to listen to though, espcially the likes of Holden and Co.
LMAO on the stupidest post i've seen this week
What a fvcking ridiculous comment.
