Global Underground 23 - James Lavelle Barcelona

Can yuo say Breaks

Something different from the usual global undergrounds, This in my opinion is one of the best GU's out there, up there with GU 13 - Sasha and GU 16 Dave Seaman

CD 1 is full of breaks, very sasha-airdrawndagger like, and there is a sasha tune in there.

CD 2 is progressive with breaks in the middle

One more week till the official release (Sept 30)

I didn't think I would like this at all but the first cd sounds really good. However, disc 2 doesn't sound nearly as good which is why I'm having some doubts whether I should buy this GU or not... hmmm... needs a few more spins I guess.

Hard to say it's equal to GU013... That's a classic.. this one isn't (yet)..

Yea goodo, you say they're awesome CDs, a classic, amazing mix. Why are these good CD's?... what are the highlights?.. are they atmospheric breaks or deep dark breaks that shouldn't be touched by anyone who likes the normal Global Underground thing?

I wanna know whether i should think about buying the CD

Just picked the longbox version of this up today,,had another cd with it that had a little 11 minute video and some tunes & pics on it as well

This is most definitely one of the best GU's in a long time. Lavelle has awesome taste in music and makes a hell of a mix. I recommend this to all electronic music lovers.

i bought nick warren's GU a couple of weeks ago, just because it was the limited vinyl edition....i didn't think it was any good. then i listened to it........wow!!!!

maybe i'll check this one out too if it comes on vinyl???
though cd's don't hurt either
