Yestarday I watched it and guys.. its amazing! 9'5/10
Whats your opinion about it??

Dunno

Did he actally sing?
I think he's a neat guy; love most of his movies.

I woulda liked to see that...

i think u mean signs...it was good, but there were sum pretty obvious flaws in the plot, i mean c'mon, how can a whole alien race with enuff advanced technology to travel in space-ships and such, overlook the simple fact that they have problems with water? even when ruffly 70% of the globe is covered with water, lol

but i guess it still made its point pretty well, that everything happens for a reason

Posted by whiskers on Sep-21-2002 19:33:

^^^ exactly, ooh, we're so advanced, let's invade earth which is 75% water (which is like acid to our bodies) and where humans are 90% water by composition and where there are droplets of water hanging in the air...

but overall, this movie was really good. i liked it just for the fact that it doesn't have the everyday action/stupid comedy/romance plot where in the end the good wins and the guy gets the girl or whatever...

i prefer something like vanilla sky, signs, fight club, or something like that, where you have no clue what the movie is about until the end.

sorry was signs no sings

Who cares about their tecnology? An alien race that can't get along with water!? They must smell really bad , how can a civilization be developed that way?

Posted by rupert on Sep-22-2002 05:04:

apart from the dubious premise. Why exactly do these aliens need to communicate attack signals with crop circles. They can master faster than light travel and crop circles are the best they can come up with.

But it was a well produced film, notwithstanding

garbage movie, entirely based of false represntation (ads)... wan't the type of movie i wanted to watch.

Posted by gOOD-tRiP on Sep-22-2002 10:05:

yeah what would happen when it rains

Posted by Bullet on Sep-22-2002 13:45:

LOL.... what's so exciting about their problem with water ? Uhm...those stupid bastards can't even open a door, hehe...
Ok, not funny....bla, I know.

Well, IMO the best scene was, when the children looked out of the window *SPOILER* *SPOILER* *DON'T READ* and the alien came out of the bush...whoa that was funny. A girl next to me (in cinema) threw her Popcorn down on the floor....eheh...

I think the movie was quite good... few nice shocks, but that was ok

Posted by AnotherWay83 on Sep-22-2002 18:26:

heheh i remember that one, pretty damn funny, that d00d in front of the tv set goes "vamanos!! vamanos!!" rofl

yeah, that was the funniest part, it wasn't really scary for me, but it was funny when everyone else was screaming and hyperventilating

Posted by Lira on Sep-23-2002 00:06:

Yeah, what about the aliens that invaded London? It rains 24/7 there

hehe, I was like "OMG, they're in Brazil!!! We've been the first country to get an Alien on tape! "... I was really impressed, they DO speak like us, I thought it was going to be as in other films (like Stigmata) in which they speak Portugues as if it was Spanish Well, the dood spoke in Spanish though (Vamonos!), which was even more funny for us

In case any of you are curious about what the kids were saying; "Ali atrs da garagem" (There, behind the garage). hehe, what about that car parked there? I've never seen such old cars here in Brazil

Posted by El~ZaPo on Sep-23-2002 14:32:

The movie was alright, maybe a 6/10 or 7/10 from me.. but I prefer his other work, such as Unbreakable, a really good movie with a great twist in the ending.

Dammit.. in the german-movie they didn't speak spanish... I freaking hate german-synchronized movies... they totally suck

Wouldn't it be because we speak Portuguese here?
Just kidding, I know what you mean
