GA Ultra tickets starting at $399.95 before fees...

Wow, I managed to grab an early bird at the 4:30 sale time but wow, I did not imagine it would jump to $499.95+fees, which comes out to $505. The uproar on the fb page is pretty huge.

I managed to save the html addresses for the ticket buying page. So once 4:30 hit I started clicking to buy. I may have had just stupid dumb luck to have found that loophole but yeah.

did that too so when i refreshed it it said you had to go through the official ultra ticket vendor...lame as shit

I went through all the bullshit and ended up with nothing. Whelp, looks like I'm not going next year. So how's Ibiza? Never been before.

First release was a giant failure, no one got a ticket. Second release was bugged as hell too. I was put into the queue right as the tickets went on sale, then 20 seconds later the page failed. I couldn't even get in to the ticket shop until about an hour after that, page would just fail.

Ultra is a huge piece of shit, but the original $200 ticket is a legit price to catch a few people each day. $500 however, is out of control.

I didn't refresh. I just clicked one ticket then buy and off I went. Either way that sucks.

I snagged 2 during the presale at 4:30pm

$380 fees & shipping inclusive for the pair.

Now that's a deal! Thanks to DreamBeamz for the reminder today, it's appreciated brother!

Didn't get through. Looks like after 7 straight trips to Ultra that I won't be attending the festival next year. $500 is just too much as I never go to Friday and can't justify the cost on two days.

I knew this was going to happen. When both weekends sold out this past year and scalpers were getting $700+ for tickets, the writing was on the wall.

At this price point, no one who doesn't come from a well-moneyed background should buy a ticket. And that's what will happen for the most part. I always enjoyed myself at the festival and had a great time in the Carl Cox tent with complete strangers who were there for the music and understood what this sort of scene was all about. Sure at $300 or so, the tickets were still quite expensive, but at $500? Don't see those same types of people coming out.

Gonna be filled with spoiled brat high school kids, lame transplanted UM students, and rich dudes trying to impress their high-maintenance girls. Have fun...

I always try to buy early bird, that way if the line-up ends up not being that awesome I can just sell mine off and make some cash. If the lineup is good then I only spent $200. So either way it's win/win for me.

P.S. Here's the ASOT 650 lineup: Armin, W&W, Ferry Corsten, ATB, Cosmic Gate, and the rest of the same lineup we've had for years. Fuck...

Yeah, I feel you. The two parties at WMC this year that had trance were the Pure Trance party and The John O'Callaghan and Friends party at Space. Unfortunately both parties were on the same night.

Another thing to consider is Ultra wont be able to get a vote from the city of Miami for the second weekend until much later in the year

This past year for Ultra 2013 they had stepped up the production game a lot, Most of that money came from being able to keep all of the equipment erected from one weekend to the next. With one weekends worth of money for 2014 they would need the extra money to not 'lower' the brand name by cheaping out on production while still filling their pockets :

Im confused. I thought no tickets were sold at all through ticket freak.

Ultra has not made a single comment aboout the tix price.

ticketfreak, ticketjunkie, musictoday, and livenation all had something to do with the ticket sales for ultra this year. When looking at my browsing logs all of those were used in some way to complete my transaction.

f that. i'm going to edc vegas, lol. lets see what they have up their sleeves. if all fails... pool parties and club events should be sufice.
