Best set.....hmmmm.....that i've ever been to

probably a tie between dj tiesto @ koolhaus toronto (oct 6th/2001) and sander kleinenberg live at koolhaus toronto.

Sander Kleinenberg Totally tore the joint apart...playing some nasty groovy tracks....highland - no way out (highland mix), art of noise - yebo, silverscreenshowerscene (funky mix of it) and he ended with john creamer and pqm - cock sonnet. Totally an amazing night...still get chills everytime i hear yebo....dancefloor moment.....he totally took apart that dancefloor. Then he came back to t.o...last month and took apart the guvernment dancefloor......amazing dj....plus....a very nice guy...who has a habit of wandering around the club before his set....signed my nubreed 4.....and said his new GU compilation is due in early 2003.

sander is the real deal. some people dont pay attention cause he doesn't play *obvious* tunes, and thats what makes him so amazing. live - nothing beats him.

oh! and he is a nice guy. my drunken friend made his way up the ladder to the Dj booth, and after getting SKs attention he yelled: 'Play one of YOUR songs! Something YOU wrote!!" Sander replied: "I will!" and then about 5 songs later dropped one of the best produced, simple and elegant trance songs I have ever heard: My Lexicon. it was the bomb|

some ppl tend to hate him because he played so bad at ultra this year....and sometimes he tends to fuckup his mixes. I've seen him twice.....both times.....he did not trainwreck or fuck up. Very nice guy...easy to approach....tho he does sweat like a sponge and he does smoke like a chimney but besides that....he RULES!. BTW...when i saw him...he did not play 3 hrs of str8 prog....he plays moving dance music...normally groovy to keep the dancefloor going....very nice guy. He loves to hear what ppl think of his stuff.....like when he signed my nubreed 4....he said....what did you think of it....i told him.....the start of cd 1 sucked.....he goes....some ppl have said that....and some ppl think i started off too dark.....but i said after that....it was amazing. He laughed and said....i'm glad you liked it....it gives me great satisfaction knowing others like my music.

I hope sasha's set in toronto @ koolhaus....next month will rock....all us crazy t.o fans....want him to drop the xpander and then the roof will not hold.

Tiesto - Live at Amsaterdam (Magik 6)

I liked all the tracks he mixed and the mix was very smooth.

Tiesto @ Max Bell Arena
lol it sounds funny like that. Well it's my most memorable because it was the first bigtime dj I ever saw, and I can safely say that that night I graduated out of the nOOb-trancer state.
