WTF National Security Agency records all of the phone records of Verizon customers
who they called, for how long they talked, where the talks took place. wtf. everyone on verizon, domestic and international calls. this, according to the Guardian.

i'm not a verizon customer, but that really bothers me. who's to say that they aren't doing with all carriers. fucken patriot act.
so its outrageous that a government agency have access to the exact same information big business already has? end of the world stuff right there!
until hippy faggots start producing evidence of all the systemic evils perpetrated on unassuming citizens because of these warrants, im gonna yawn and go back to sleep. doing data analysis and looking for patterns and links between datasets is not the same thing as The Man listening into your phone call.

And you're a GESTAPO Liberal.
I rest my case.
HEIL HITLER!

i lol at how everyones response is so predictable, the minute someone posts something in question, ANYTHING, whether it's government related or privacy related, you all get up in arms about debunking it as a conspiracy theory.
isn't it fun to consider the question at hand not to debate but for once straddle the line that is a major dildo of potentially having truth to a conspiracy? it doesn't mean you or anyone should actually believe it it just means the minute everyone starts saying, you're talking shit out of your ass if you believe it, you're just really being trolled
PS - and this is why this place sucks now, everyones trying to prove how dumb one another is, the old days this thread would be full of MEMEs and CHOPS but now days it's an IQ battle
THIS GOES OUT TO VIVID
GET THAT RIFF RAFF LIFE MY DUDE

I hope Obama personally listens to every phone call of mine in which I'm discussing picking up MARIJUANA.
i'll get you that evidence, i'll get you that meat

The NSA exists precisely for things like this. The big deal, however, is that it appears in clear violation of the 4th Amendment... but I am sure it's in the fine print somewhere on your Verizon contract that you forfeit all constitutional rights in lieu of unprecedented surveillance and all of the national security that has been proven to ensure. Like... uhhh... you know that one time... ?
If it wasn't in the initial contract, it was in one of the ceaseless EULA revisions people accept (whether they know it or not) because you have to be a fucking lawyer to notice any discrepancies. This obtuse and elitist nature of business in our century is precisely why Tea Party values are queerly logical, despite their compounded ignorance.
If you're going to get pissed about what you perceive to be a violation of your privacy, at least get pissed at something that's worth it...

Can't wait till they've got a more noticeable number of unmanned surveillance drones patrolling the skies. It's predicted that drones with mind reading capabilities will eventually be deployed for security purposes. At least then they won't have to monitor or phone calls.

I mean really though, just because they have all this data, does it feasibly mean they can do anything with it?
