Ive seen them once and im gonna see them again at a small local club that plays pure cheese on toast. unless u like their commercial stuff, we will survive and the like i wouldnt bother

Posted by Linx_da_cat on Apr-18-2001 00:57:

a lot of people would tell you not to go. but their stuff is hard hitting and pretty cool in general! i've never seen them live though...but i would try them out. besides, another set of djs you can claim to have seen live.

comon now

we will survive is very good .. i dont care how "commercial" it is but if they play that song even once in the set id str8 blow my load
love the hard hitting high tweeting stuff

Er, I'd actually say "We Will Survive" is one of the worst dance records of the year. It's a rip off of "Higher State Of Consciousness" and sounds almost identical to the similarly awful Voodoo & Serano "Blood Is Pumping". I find commercial hardhouse to be extremely annoying and it gives me a headache. Suppose Warp Brothers aren't as bad as Publib Domain, though that wouldn't be hard!

hmmmm maybe coz i don't like warp brothers.. but i'm tellin u not to go.. hehe.. call me narrow.. but i don't like em... too much.........

Nahhh guys. I stay true 2 my trance but theres something bout the warp bros. Something... i like... much

Even if it is slightly annoying and sounds slightly similar to another track it still works in the club. And thats what we ant isnt it

Is it the same noize and same bloke (who sounds like the dood off the cinema trailers.. "Coming to a screen near you..") in every damn choon they do? heheh..

I dont like um any more.. i used to.. when i had only heard one or two tracks of theirs, but if u hear a warp bros tune in a club (well.. if i hear one) its like, is it phatt bass? is it we will survive? or is it their remix of time & space?.. confuses me too much

Posted by cyberia on Apr-18-2001 15:41:

Posted by DjTS-NeXiLe on Apr-20-2001 07:10:

the $22 is for a Ministry of Sound event, includes Fragma, local South African djs & (rumour has it) Storm.

I'm still trying to decide whether to go or not.

Posted by DjTS-NeXiLe on Apr-21-2001 15:24:

Posted by DjTS-NeXiLe on Apr-21-2001 15:25:

... not that there's anything wrong with that

Posted by Flaming IceCube on Apr-25-2001 15:10:

lol..
im just saying its too fuckin expensive here..
warp brothers live = worth it.

Posted by ftnb on Apr-25-2001 19:15:

id go

ive seen fragma live last october, and that was pretty tight..so if i were you id go, im goign to see warp brothers in june, so you can tell me how they did at least, but im paying 10$ to see em, but then again your see'ing more than one dj/pro. so im thinking that price you said is good.

Posted by DjTS-NeXiLe on Apr-28-2001 12:03:

Hmmm. Hes got a point

Posted by Widget on Apr-28-2001 15:42:

Got free tickets

Well the price part turned out to be not a problem.
Have been invited as a guest.

Also, managed to get an interview with Funkstar De Luxe, aka Martin Sorenson of "Sun is Shining" remix fame.
We're inviting people to think up questions that they'd like to ask him,
