Riots In Brazil

An Overwhelming number of crowds protest against government corruption and mis allocation of resources.

I'm surprised no one made a thread about it. Happening now in So Paulo.

No link as I'm sure you can all search on your own.

Actually, I have to burst your bubble - you're really clueless about what's going on, mate.

Oh yeah you guys have benefitted greatly from the loose monetary policies of the Fed.

...

Yeah, that's exactly what's going on. Uh-huh. Anyway, here's an article about it, and I've commented on it extensively (you can just scroll down to the comment section... the Guardian is probably the only news site in the world where you get to actually have a discussion).

you make comments like this all the time completely bereft of supporting evidence or indeed proven relevance. is it deliberate? do you really mean most of your communication here to be unintelligible? if so, carry on. if not, sort your fucking shit out.

Told you City of God was best movie ever. True story future tense!

That movie is so great, I'm going to mail our DVD to Marcus! He'll receive it by next summer when its scathing relevance has truly set in!

Ugh. What is important here is football, the real and original one.

Brazil vs Mexico today. Let's enjoy it unlike Lira who is probably the only Brazilian who doesn't like the sport.

a good buddy of mine is a dr here in ottawa, originally from brazil. i also have another friend Gisele who emigrated to ottawa from Sao Paulo two years ago and she frequently invites my gf and i over for homemade Brazilian food. unfortunately she also introduced me to guarana which is probably why my dentists office has now started sending me holiday cards....

Make sure it is the Guarana made by Antarctica.

So far so good in this Confederations Cup for Brazil. Neymar is doing well to shut up the haters. I just hope my boy Fred starts finding the back of the net again.

Brazil is, unlike Turkey, another emerging economy, actually a functioning democracy with a president who endorses social progress and demonstrations. What I've read however, is that Brazil has had large problems with corrupted authorities and I'd imagine segregation (which is never a good thing) is still a problem.

I do wonder why no one made a thread about the protests in Turkey, however. I find them to be quite more relevant.

This is a fact. Walk through a mall in Brazil. Inflation has jacked up the prices so high, even with the exchange from USD to reals, it's not worth spending your money on anything down there that you can get where I live. The protectionism doesn't help either. It's a jacked up economy for sure.

Fred is old. As much as I like him, I'm just waiting for Felipao to cut him.
