What was the big surprise?

So someone had a big surprise for us all years ago.

Seen as it's been yonks since I last logged in I wondered if anyone knew?

Also, is DJRT(sic) still with Lucid?

WWU sucked. The guy and the school he was named after. It was just a bunch of mix sets and it didn't even make sense.

RJT and Lucid broke up ages ago, which sucks cause if they'd stuck together they'd have moved like 20 minutes from me (well more like an hour now). Then again moving there might have been a reason to break up. Fuck the Harbor.

Also I am Nou, so that explains a lot.

Lucid kept posting for a while and RJT went away, RJT has posted a couple times in the last year or so. I think RJT is on TA 2.0.

Bills sometimes posts, he is also on TA 2.0.

My ban was BS. I got unbanned after the FSA thing, then I flipped out on Enferno (who had been pissing me off for a while) after he made fun of someones dead cat and got banned again for good. Then I took a break from TA for like 2 years and came back in 08.

Were you anticipating things would be the same as when you left? Multiple posts pointing out that the board has changed would seem to indicate so.

There's nothing sad about it - change just is.

Karim (NRG), Lira, and PKC still post. Lira and PKC post all the time. NRG sometimes.

Most of the long long time users are still here. A lot of the 2003-2005 crowd is gone though.

I think it's incredibly stupid to believe that those who post on this so-called 'T.A 2.0' don't frequent the original TA. They do, I actually believe (20-25%) of most users who used to frequent this board 2003-2008 still do so, but as visitors, though I could be wrong.

I have TAs on my Facebook, but I won't bother them with this nonsense, as they are busy people. I would imagine most users still skim through the original forum.

I don't have any desire to migrate to T.A 2.0 -- I really don't care how many users browse this forum in general, as I usually approach 'posting on T.A' as a 'pseudo-anonymous outlet', careless of who ends up reading it.

At times, I go straight to posting without reading anyone else's posts -- it's a bit therapeutic tbh.
