George Zimmerman not guilty on all counts
This should be interesting.
Orangesto is going to rage.
when around blacks watch your backs.
Now we're even for OJ.
What's the next story the media is going to masturbate to?
Prosecution was overreaching for Murder 2. And now this shitglutton gets to walk free. I sincerely hope that he spends the rest of his life even more paranoid than he was before.
should've been voluntary manslaughter like i said from the beginning
can someone please tell me how the manslaughter charge was inserted after the trial started when it wasn't on the original docket?
the nra wins. guns rights mean more than human rights.
a few choice posts from my facebook
"George Zimmerman trolling the American justice system and Eric Snowden trolling the U.S. government.
And the media trolling us all."
"The sad part: if roles were reversed a black man would be going to jail for a long time tonight. Fact, not fiction."
"Michael Vick went to prison for killing dogs. Casey Anthony and George Zimmerman killed kids and walked. Good job, FL.
We have overpopulated prisons with people who smoke weed and people who kill (whether through murder or manslaughter) walk freely.
Boggles my mind."
thoughts and peace be with the martin family.
For any of you surprised of the verdict, understand several things.
1) Initially, Zimmerman wasn't charged.
2) When Zimmerman was charged, he was overcharged.
3) If you expect to convict someone of murder, or a related charge like manslaughter, you have to have the evidence necessary to get that conviction. The prosecution....didn't.
Is it sad that the life of a person was taken so early in their life? Of course. But too much was working against the prosecution (a lot of which was itself) for Zimmerman to be found guilty of what he was charged with.
Yeah imo it was more or less a prosecution that wanted to go all or nothing on not-so-concrete evidence. In an adversarial court model, that usually ends up working 0.000000000001% of the time.
fuck the models and stats and all this bullshit
a kid is dead
no one is being held accountable for it

So why didn't Obama say "if I had a son, he would look like George"
Apparently Zimmerman is not even hispanic as he doesn't know Spanish. I...am...so confused.
Zimmerman is a Jewish name too...ok, so he's a White Afro American Jew!!! DING DING DING
pathetic people
race has nothing to do with this case damn it a kid is dead and none one is responsible

I have the same last name and always thought it German.
I didn't follow the trial at all, but I found this to be an interesting read

Meanwhile, a black woman was sentenced to 20 years prison for firing warning shots.

Would've Zimmerman gotten the same sentence if Trayvon Martin survived?
The US Justice system > Any other Judicial System!
You know why??
Cause its a system that WE created
Plaxico Burress got 2 years for shooting himself.

| Originally posted by Halcyon+On+On I don't buy that he set out to murder this poor kid, but his willingness to engage someone who had done absolutely nothing wrong, and start an altercation he was most assuredly not prepared to finish by any civil standards - despite being told NOT to do so by law enforcement immediately prior - has caused untold grief to the child's family, and reverberations throughout race relations in this country. Voluntary manslaughter should have been the most obvious charge. But then again, Florida. |
