Angry

well my search is over, and pretty much all hope of ever owning this mixer. i found it on marsmusic.com for the small sum of $1899.99 ...ouch. so how much do you think a healthy human lung is worth on the open market?

Posted by Special_K on Apr-27-2001 07:53:

I think the Pioneer DJM-600 is still more expensive, thats sort of the one I got my Eye on. I think a human lung is going for about $6000 on Ebay these days

Me to developed astma some years ago.. I had just started smoking then, so i think my lungs now would be sold at a dumpsale or something

Posted by patticus on Apr-27-2001 17:13:

do you guys ever have trouble breathing like in those scary stories, like where people almost die? i just wanna know what to expect..
just got it over the last couple weeks... lots of extensive coughing, thats it
... just dont wanna feel disabled now (no offense to anyone)

sorry to turn this into the "how asthma affected MY life" thread

Posted by Fatboy on Apr-27-2001 17:16:

Drunk

Lol! From a mixer to astma. That's a long way Well, no i haven't had any breathing problems while reading scary stories. I get them mostly while i run, something i have stopped doing

Posted by Special_K on Apr-27-2001 20:01:

I dont want to scare you or anyhting, but I've had TONS of really bad experiences. I have had SEVERE asthma ever since I was born and I still have it now allthough its not near as bad. I have been in the emergancy room well over 100 times since the age of 8. Go to your doctor and get a perscription of "Singular" its a new 1 a day asthma pill and despite my doubts at first it a freaking wonder drug.

Posted by patticus on Apr-27-2001 20:12:

hm... thanks for the info, i guess
mines not bad at all now, no trouble breathing
just annoying coughing sporadically

but it can get worse huh, i hope not

how do you handle dancing all nite

Posted by arturob on Apr-27-2001 20:25:

this is sad

but after all treatment and stuff i have never suffered of it again.

cheers,

sf

Posted by Special_K on Apr-27-2001 21:21:

My asthma isnt all the bad anymore. Dancing never really made it bad
