is it suppost to be where u from..like where u live
or where your family is from
cause i see alot of people from like bumfak missisippi with an italian flag..u know what i mean?

it depends on how the person feels, i live in US but use my countrys flag, so someone from india who live in the US can put the American flag if he feels it

Not necessarily - for the majority of people it's where they currently live - regardless of heritage.

I always looked at it that way...that the flag represented the persons nationality, since their location isn't always their nationality/heritage.

yeah, I totally see the point you're making

I'm in Canada, but I'm not Canadian.. this is where my flag comes in (of course, I have to use Yugoslavian flag, but I would rather just have Montenegrian.. but that's a completely other -- and political -- issue now)
