Armin van Buuren 004 Transparance or ISOS 3

In search of sunrise is definately dreamy, but its got some wonderful trance on it...

Godskitchen Summer Trance!

CD1's progressive, CD2's trancey and CD3's just mentalist. I love it!

This is horseshit. People don't even know exactly what progressive is...progressive WHAT? Trance? House? ADD is in a genre of it's own at the moment, but necessity calls for categorization, it would probably fit into 'progressive' trance.
As far as ISOS3, it's terribly overrrated IMO...it's a DJ mix, so it's not as fluid or seemless as the GUs or other engineered mixes, so it's not like it's impossible to pull off, although the mixing is top notch for such a generic mix.

Wink

Tiesto - In Search of Sunrise 3 definitly does it for me... if you more of a prog addict, try Peter Rauhofer - Live @ The Roxy... kick ass progressive house there...

Dancing Dude

my CD is the best.

Posted by netroM on Sep-25-2002 20:02:

my suggestion is DJ Stigma - International DJ's @ Goliath
PS: I have ripped it in 160kb/s, ny1 interested?

woohoo! arguing about genres! thats pretty impossible/stupid.

neways for pretty 'straight' trance i would say my fave recent cd is Ferry Corsten - World Tour Tokyo, but this may not be very recently released, or even easily found....muwahahaha|

State-wise, I'm liking Ferry Corsten's Globaltrancemissions 2 a lot. It's got some pretty nice tunes on there. Like Lange's Drifting... Eon's Pocket Damage... etc. Those are some of my favorites on the CD. DJ Micro's mix of Music Through Me isn't too bad... Tiesto's In Search of Sunrise 3 is okay, more of a relaxed mix though, not nearly as high energy as some of his other mixes. These are all state-wise releases, btw. I'm too cheap for imports!!! Blah, but I want AvB's Transparence 004!

Posted by k.k.d. on Sep-27-2002 04:11:

At risk of being unoriginal, I claim that ISOS3 so far is the best mix cd of this year, Transparence being okay but not quite up to the level of track selection...

As for artist albums, Airdrawndagger is nice I guess, even tho not entirelly my cup of tea (had to grow on me), and not quite trance...
