Armin ASOT destroying trance
is it jsut me or does he pump all the newest sogns before any other dj's get to play them....every week his sets are full of new tunes that no1 knows about

The first time I saw the thread title I thought I'd have to whoop ass for someone daring to say that Armin is killing off trance.
Then I realised that this is the good meaning of the word 'destroying'.

No, I believe DuMonde were the first to play that new Orbital Remix @ TE so he's not introducing all the new stuff 
Maybe someone should start having a show/play livesets on Wed then instead of waiting for the weekend...
thats what its all about... new music... sure its good to hear some older ones... but new ones, is what keeps most people going!

destroying trance would be the complete opposite.. only playing old tunes which would lead to no progression whatso ever in the genre
Yeah, that for sure is not destroying trance. That's being smart. Would you say an olympian was destroying the olympics just because he beat everyone to the finish line? Dumb analogy I know, but you get the point.
armin is the man with asot show. i mean would u like to hear new tunes by a dj or the same old ones but in different order no disrespect to tiesto but it does get old for a while. either way both of the best djs in the world

i doubt it will "destroy" trance, but at times, i wonder if he tries to either play new stuff or make an awesome set. but whatever. armin is still the man! i love ya too!

I love ASOT, I dunno what I would do without it! Thankgod somebody is dropping those new tunes!
Armin is this year's number one! 
His weekly show has become better & better during the last months - A perfect mixture of high quality promo tracks and nice sets!
Think it's unlikely he's "destroying trance", but I'm getting bored with ASOT. 2 hours of very similar tracks each week, little variation in style and even the last hour in the mix isn't really a true set as there's no build up in the mix.
There are weekly shows by other DJs on European radio stations that are far more innovative imho.
Plus the fact the servers are rammed means the stream quality is bloody awful, didn't even bother listening to it last night.
ARmin is definatly on a roll this year! I love his sets and ASOT. In fact, I schedualed my classes this semester to fit in ASOT perfectly. ANd when I had a Job, i schedualled my hours around ASOT.

Even tho i m not a big fan of uplifting trance, Armin is the by far No.1 DJ in this year !! Amazing productions and DJing !!
