Question

I want to mix my own Cd on the comp......so that i can burn out nice complications....i need a Prog that can fade, mix and pitch my mp3s.....and one that can split them into trax so i can burn them......
someone know any easy program like this?

I use Mixmesiter v3.0 for doing exactly that. It's an awesome little package once you know how to use it properly. REAL Automatic beat matching, adjustable tempo's, bass/treble sliders, excellent fade control & you render the mix later, so two soundcards is totally unnescessary.

Check it out at www.mixmeister.com. Beep me if you want a code for it also. You won't be disappointed!

Hey thanks Paul Griffiths 1, i have tried the program now for 1 hour and already making wicked mixes, ok to make a cool mix you gotta have some kind of feeling and choose the right tracks but this is very inspiring.

I sure as hell would like to have the code for the registration. Please send it to me in private message

Im going to put out my first mix on napster, my aka there is steve_trance4ever

mixmeister takes the fun out of it though.

Everything with that program is automated! I suppose if yer just making compilations its perfect but I'd still rather wanna do it myself with something like Traktor or Virtual Turntables...

Hello!

Im really just a newbie in mixing so please tell me the difference.....when you use turntables can you like take samples out of a track...? like the melody only?
Ive got som major problems with that when i mix in Mixmeister....i get the trax to fit in each other...the bass i perfect and all....and then there are som anoying hi-hats that really doesnt fit in...

Treble Sliders...

What you have to do mindshooter is use the treble sliders. These are accessed by right clicking on the track and selecting "Add Treble Volume Marker" From here lower the frequency so that you can adjust the hi hats loudness or clarity. The Bass & Treble sliders are really useful, when used in the right areas.

Yes thats exactly what i did but i thought that it lowered the quality of the melody as well.......
But still....whats the difference between using turntables and disc? What does make this program Automatic mixing?

I'm not so sure on VTT, but with Mixmeister you can only export as a Wav or WMA file, from the file menu. I'd suggest a wav as one big file, and then use an encoder after to make the MP3.
