It looks like Seaman will be back in Montreal, but not at Aria.

Looks like Sona can still book a big dj.

Albert.

Posted by TechnoFreak on Sep-29-2002 14:45:

WHAT IS SNA DOING ??

Stopping their Xl , laflche , raymond marathon. I don't know the man behind booking international dj's but he should get fired.
Man Xl, laflche and raymond are WAY BIGGER than seamen ..... who is he anyways ?

KrinKer

To dose who didn't understood .... i was being sarcastic !!!

Posted by iwantpow on Sep-29-2002 23:52:

They'll probably book him, but not pay him, and he wont come, even though they say he'll come, and a few people who want to see him, will just see another night of xl/lafleche.

"Boycott of Sona still running since Timo"

and everyone who knows trance a little know that we cant even compare ferry to seamen

Seaman is not a trance DJ... You cannot compare the two... Completely different styles... Happy, do you know the schedule for that night? what time will Seaman play?

Posted by Morales_HIGH5 on Sep-30-2002 06:04:

Do you know how long his set will be? 3hours? 5hours? This could completely change my plans for one night.
Thx

Happy, or any other 514 people... can you tell me what time will Seaman spin on the 11th? If it's early enough in the night, I'm thinking of doing both Sona and Aria that night... (it's good that they are relatively close to each other that i would be able to manage it...)

Thanks in advance

Dave Seaman is soooooooooooooooooo much better than Ferry Corsten! Trust me! Once youve seen him spin you'll agree... unless you love cheezy trance that is

you've just proven your ignorance

How you can tell Dave Seaman is better than Ferry?

Every city Ferry is playing the people are going nuts way more than for Dave Seaman trust me on that! Anyway they are not playing the same style of music!

Posted by Apu on Oct-03-2002 16:01:

It's impossible to Compare the both...They are both wicked and top international Dj's ...

Case closed

true, it is hard to compare the two, but Dave Seaman spins this very dreamy floaty style trance thats incredible - Ferry is alot more anthemic and "huge buildup" style. I just personally think Dave Seaman is alot more talented DJ. Ferry reminds me of 1999 relived.

start a poll to see who's more popular and you'll see ...

popular usually = very bad

Posted by fastmp3 on Oct-03-2002 21:14:

not necesarily

Posted by Morales_HIGH5 on Oct-03-2002 21:17:

About Seaman, as hard as I try to enjoy some of his live sets I've downloaded, it just seems like I can't get hooked as much as Corsten. PVD_S11DJ, do you have any recommandation 'bout great sets Seaman has spun lately? I already have his Live set @Contact2002 and Live @ Casino Berlin, and so far, I'm not impressed.
If I don't find any better, my trip at Sona will have to wait.
Thx

popularity means nothing...that would make britney the worlds best female singer, eminem the worlds best rapper, and oakenfold the worlds best dj. I doubt many people who would go to see tiesto ferry or oakenfold would even know who dave seaman is but that doesnt mean they are better. However, i really dont think you can say in this situation that one is better than the other unless you are talking technical skills. (and for most i think thats not the reason they go to a party) Its all a matter of taste i guess..

Posted by fastmp3 on Oct-03-2002 22:24:

my votes goes to discojoe for prime minister of canada

*BRAVO*

Posted by Biggy on Oct-03-2002 22:42:

Both are good and both are really different!
But Ferry is more popular and I think it's a better party when Ferry is playing! People who like trance are partying much more than Prog crowd!

my vote goes to Biggy for President of Republic of Quebec
