Smiley DJ **could any1 mix my CD????

Sonner or later ...maybe by around February....
I'll have about 9 to 12 tracks...all made by me. Most of it will be trance but some will not. What I'd like is for some1 to mix all the mp3s really nicely into a cued set so I can burn it. All the mp3s will be mastered and at 192kbit. I'd like to know who'd want to do this favour for me. You'd get recognition in the credits for it too.

Have you got a link to where we could listen to your songs?

not all the songs are done yet. Only once they're done, will I make them "exclusively" available.

I've been using MixMeister to produce some good mixes for about 2 years now. I'd be down to mix them for you too.

How about everyone mix it and then you pick the best mix.

I can mix it too with a cd player.

Goo Idea! ok... from now on...all posts are potential mixers, and I'll chose the best out of all of them. I'll take a max of 15 mixes. thanx ppl. I hope u guys can mix trance with other techno genres too.

who says you have to mix them live?

why not just change the pitch/speed of the wave files in soundforge or wavelab or goldwave or whatever, and then mix them in that way?

Then you get a perfect sync, and you can add FX tricks if you wanted to.

sgtfoo, do you want it live mixed or studio mixed? if you dont mind it being studio mixed, i suggest going with theotrope's idea b/c it will sound better FOR SURE. but if you have someone do it live mixed, it will have a less homogenous feel (obviously). i was just throwing my two cents in about it being sgtfoo's call...

thnx ...that's quite the idea....I never thought of it...and I do have SF Acid and Sound Forge. It does make sense.... a live mix would have crowd noise and too much venue echoing. I'll look into this.
