Question about PVD @ Love From Above

I was there, it was well good etc.

Now in the liveset that is hosted by TA, during SOlid SLeep - Club Attack (PVD remix)

It cuts out at 118:42 to a different tune, and then cuts back to SOlid Sleep at 118:47.

NOw I want to know what song this sample was derived from, cos I think it sounds well good.

Its quite bass orientated, with a breaks feel to it.

Please help!

hmm i listened again. Sounds like wavy gravy to me. And since the people who were actually there say that the track after Club Attack was Wavy Gravy it would make sense that he quickly sampled it before hand.

I know exactly what you're talking about, and I was wondering the same thing. Since that version seems to lack Wavy Gravy at the end, the clip might have been an error in the recording where Wavy Gravy was accidentally misplaced for a few seconds, unless it was part of what Paul actually played that night. Does anyone who was there seem to remember this happening live?

The clip sounds like Wavy Gravy to me, but I could be wrong.

once again, is not wavy. I have the part when he starts mixing wavy gravy and it`s definitely not this. on my other set of loveparade (not technauts recording) this clip doesn`t happen.

yea this mite not hav been the transition... but how dya no he didnt sample it? he teases and triX all the time like that.

Its not Wavy Gravy, thats for sure. Its a bit poo compared to this unknown sample!

And I don't think PvD suddenly used a sample during Club Attack because

Its at a distincltly lower sound quality to Club Attack and if it could be regarded as a trick, then its a pretty poor effort for a cut! Its out of time and poorly bought back in

come on people lets ID this unknown little thing!!

i thought it was maybe something from Radio 1.....like, they were going to play it as an outro while pete tong says, "well, thanks to paul van dyk...." but, yeah...its weird...plus, i'm pissed that my set doesn't have wavy gravy at the end

i've noticed this one some other essential mixes that I have where they do this (playing a different outro than the last song the DJ played)....but who knows
