How relevant is Zyzz to the Trance community and how did he actually contribute?

Someone bother to explain to me why Armin believers are claiming there's this one guy named Zyzz who supposedly had a great effect on the Trance community and contributed a lot?

I have no idea what happened. I never even heard of him.

He only appeared on my radar when there was a fuss here in Australia about some meathead citizen dying from massive amounts of steroid abuse overseas.
Apparently he liked to make workout videos with trance tracks, so maybe in a way it's spawned a whole new generation of trance fans in of itself... I don't rightly know if that can be considered a contribution

what the fuck, I never seen a J00F track, oldschool Oakenfold essential mix, L.S.G. track, Cosmic Baby or whatever Trance track ever be associated with some dude named Zyzz.

I only see Zyzz pop up whenever I see Armin videos on YouTube in the comments section.

Zyzz is an idol to skinny betas who live online and bros who live in a gym. These two comprise a large chunk of trance 2.0 listeners.

guy is a full internet ghost - he comes up in so many forums

Zyzz is the equivalent of Godwins law but for electronic music, especially the new wave of trance. He is the meathead thousands of scronny edm fans look up to in hopes of being one day.

I still don't see what he has done for Trance.

Same, partner. I've never heard the name before in my entire life.

He was actually a ghost producer for Tiesto for a while. Did some of his more famous songs, along with Dennis Reijers.

Uhuh yup, I heard he was the innovative producer behind Jam & Spoon's Watch Out For Stella's 'Age of Love' mix too
