Orlando Voorn ‎ Introduces

Check out Essential Mixes from back in the day. Blu Peter 97 mix, Andrew Weatherall 93, etc. CJ Bolland has some dope mixes from 96 or so as well.
Oliver Lieb did a pretty nice mix for John '00' Fleming's Global Trance Grooves, back in 2003 or so. It started off with the awesome My Mind Is Going Dub track from Tony Rohr. Also check out Luke Slater's early 90s mixes.

Woony: that DVS1 set is fabulous. I get so annoyed he never comes to socal to play live.

Old school mix:

DVS1 is a bitch to catch. Even in Berlin he seems to only play Berghain closings which means way into monday morning.

Here's a great set from a more localally known DJ called Alex.Do. He's 23 but plays like someone that has been around for 15 years. My big DJ crush at the moment.

I also really liked this boiler room set from RDHD :

This is one his best set imo, truly killer. Absolutely brilliant mix of new and old tracks. They're having another Dystopian party this november, it's probably going to be way too packed for the club again but I'm excited regardless.

Really liking the Alex Do set. Much more interesting than the modern techno sets I've been hearing lately.

I totally agree. There's a lot of techno DJs that play constantly flat sets.

I listened to Ben Klock's latest on his soundcloud. Berhghain live a couple of months ago. I honestly hated it. I take back that comment where I was busting someone's chops about not enjoying him live at Berghain. I was wrong.

DJs have off nights, you know.

One of the best oldschool techno sets you'll come across.

Saw Alex 2 weekends ago at Berghain, the set was much grittier, subfractal kind of stuff, was really good, he played Saturday night, and kept it at peak for 2 hours, very talented.

You mean at the Innervisions night? Tried to make it but couldn't get myself out of bed at 7am I went for Marcel Fengler, Luke Hess and Recondite on sunday instead.

Posted by Alero50 on Oct-25-2013 19:58:

Yeah, the innervisions night, I myself went to rest at 10 am on Sunday and went back at 2, spent the time at panorama till midnight then stayed at berghain till the end, it was pretty crazy from midnight and onwards, when I came home I slept through whole Tuesday.. Was an outstanding party actually I think

Posted by Woony on Oct-25-2013 20:48:

Lineup was great but the place was way too fucking packed.

Yeah well, innervisions night.. Sardine can

His banging all out techno sets are boring. I much prefer what he plays during day time sets, more on the house side of things.. much more enjoyable.

Dettmann plays much more interesting music then Klock.
