F&L play at Ruby the Friday before, so it's not them.

Anyhow, if we have any money after all the holiday shopping (plus my parents are coming to SF for the first time which means gonna be spending like a tourist), the wife wants to re-live 1015. She hasn't been there since 2007 (or maybe 2008)! So maybe we'll be there!

So I got some thoughts on the site:

1) When have we ever seen promoters build a web site for a one off? Especially to the point of registering a new domain name.
2) Normally when you buy tix it is not via a popup and you can see the SSL cert. If I right click on the purchase and select properties it says it is not encrypted and no cert. The pop up does say it is secure but that isn't proof.
3) Why aren't they using EventVibe like the rest of the 1015 events?
4) EVERY credit card purchase over the internet I have made had requested additional information like my address.

I have no doubt this event is happening. It is on 1015 and PvD's website, but are we putting our credit cards at risk here?

Saw this event listed on "someone else's" page and peed a little bit. This shit is gonna be crackin old skool style.

I am super dissapointed that I will most likely not be in town...really bummed as I miss 1015 and this would be the perfect show for a return.

Just to let you guys know, he tore up NYC recently. I'm going to his NYE show in Space Miami.

Thanks for your comment and your concerns. Let us at Electronic Escape help make your experience an amazing one.

We chose to build a site of our own so we can control the experience because the experience is what is important to us. If we use another ticketing company like eventVibe, we have to use their templates. We rather be creative ☺

The ticket purchase through the pop up uses a bank level secure and encrypted channel. This is using a highly secure payment processer. We do this so we can lower our costs and therefor use the money we saved to improve the experience of the event.

As for the amount of information you have to enter for the CC. I don't think we ask for any less but one of our goals is to keep things simple the less is more! We have partnered with a payment gateway that doesn�t need a large about of information.

Our goal is to keep PVD at 1015 as the main experience. We worked hard to do so. Hope you enjoy the show and see you on December 27th. We are going to party all night long!

Your CC is not at risk and never will be through our site.

I'm curious as well, although as a 1015 regular I'm sure it was packed liked sardines and while I'm sure PVD killed it, it probably didnt matter because no one could dance.
