Hell Yeah!! I feel so lucky!! See what im ordering tommorow!!
Im extremely happy with some turn of events. For the past weeks I have been hounding on you guys with my multiple and tiring questions with what to get and other things. Well fortunately and I mean fortunately, money is on my side. I was about to get a loan from the bank but my brother from Colorado was extremely helpful and knew that i need major bucks to get my dj gears. Knowing how much I wanted to get top of the line stuff, he lent me the full 6 grand I needed. Good part about it is that he doesn't give a rat's ass on how long i pay him back. I can take my time and maybe he will forgot about 2 grand later on
Fuck yeah!!!
Tommorow Im ordering my stuff. And with my internet research I found low prices which my local store agreed to compete or match it.
2 CDJ1000s $939.95 each
DJM 600 Mixer $997.50
Odyssey Case to house all these $245 (chrome)
Shure Mic SM-58 $92
Sony MDR 7506 $89
Odyssey CD Case that house 100 cds $90 (carpeted)
Mackie SRM450 Speaker System with Stands $1495
Vertigo Light set with Strobe Light $345
total=5400 plus tax estimate
that's not much considering i got some major shit here. Thanks guys!! Any objections on any of these that might give me problems or aren't good?
That setup boggles my mind
Verrrrrrrrrrrrrrry niceeeeeeeeeee
dude where did u get the money ?
my brother
my brother. he makes buttloads of money where he works in colorado (co owner of a restaurant) and he lent me the money.
i know you guys are probably saying why i didn't buy turntables. i don't know how to use them. i have been using cd players for a whle now and getting better at beatmatching
get a sub .......
oh and try getting some funktion one speakers ! That's the real deal
funktion one website
Geez mate you are really lucky REALLLY LUCKY. I don't know when I'll be able to afford that kind of equipment. I started on CD's too. It's not to hard to move to vinyl after playing on CD's anyway.
Get em to match a price for Sony MDR-V6, and get a subwoofer!! WOOHOO!! SUB!!!
I dunno much about PA subwoofers... would just getting a HT sub do the job? Hmmm, an interesting thing to study....

can i get free admission to your parties>???
I still don't see any 1200s....
hahaha..jk. That's tight. But borrowing 6 g's??? I dunno about that.
i expect to see pictures when you get them in
dude
i know u got the extra money
get some say get some techs 2
that set will b far the best one i've seen in a while if u do
dude, are you gonna be a mobile DJ? or a club DJ? or what??
cause I noticed you bought DJ lights as well.........
mobile dude
there is no way im going to be a club dj. way too much competition. mobile djing has more of a future for me
DUDE! nice equipment..
congrats, and i am so jealous!
you got the best of the best..
as has been suggested though, you need a BIT more to really go big time.
get a matching mackie sub first off, to really pound the bass. teh 450s are good, and loud, but the sub that goes with them will bounce their asses good.
also, i would suggest you get a light projector thingy, those are way cooler than regular flashing lights, imo anyway.
and, oh yeah... get some technics, and a rane or vestax scratch mixer and you will be all set for any party.
My friend ahs the exact same set up except he has a DJM-500..
your set up will totally rock!!!
And BTW, if you really dont want to spend the extra $$$ for the su b, don't because the SRM-450's absolutely pump!

Slightly good too
Yeah im pretty much happy with what Ive got but with a little difference.
I still ordered the Mackie 450s, Shur Mic, Cases for my gear and cds and lights. but my main setup had to be this since i don't necessarily want to spend the extra cash
im happy to say that for my headphones i got the hdj1000, and mixer the djm3000, and 1 cdj1000 and cdj100
looks kinda weird setup but it works for me

wow dude.. thats a pretty fuckin' great setup ur getting there.. i'm assuming u plan on being a mobile dj hence the top-o-the-line speakers and whatnot.. hope u gotta truck to haul that stuff in! at least ur cdj's won't take up too much room..
fellaz u should stop hounding him on not getting 1200's.. not everyone needs to use them to be considered a real dj.. anyways he'll probably figure out that if he wants to jump into the club scene, the ability to spin vinyl will be very useful...
anyhow.. u have much fun to look forward to w/ that equipment.. now get some music!!
WHAT A LUCKY BAAAAAAAAAAASTARD ! ! ! ! ! ! !

nice set up, but id like to hear what you can do with it. . . . .
Lol.... why rane or vestax. The dude said he is getting the Djm 600. Only a crazy person will go get a vestax or rane over the Djm 600.
