Computer Software

Hey, can anyone recommend me any computer software that I can use to mix mp3's? I want to try mixing stuff, and hopefully take it up as a hobby, Thanks.

d/l.com

Try doing a search on download.com, just type in mp3 mixers or something. I just downloaded one that beat matches for you called "AutomixMP3" It doesn't help you learn any skillz, but it kinda fun to mess around with.

If you dont plan on using 2 soundcards, you can get a free version of PCDJ, called PCDJ Silver.

Traktor is the way to go, believe me! Stuff like Atomixmp3 are toys...

i would reccomend VTT

www.carrotinnovations.com

it's the closest to turntables you will find.

all the above apps must be great for mixing. but if you by any chance need to actually merge mp3s and customize volume, etc.... get www.sonicfoundry.com 's Acid Pro 4.0

Talking hehe i have tested the Best one

Hello, if you searching a good Program, Take my choose (deejaysystem.com) i juste mixed for a party 11 to 5 PM this saturday night with my Pc and a Outside Mixer on win98 (and the results where really good everybody was impressed that a pc could make so good results, even my friends who know this software and who know me)

(never mix on windows xp you could fail even if you mix with the same song because the rythm when you read a MP3 is changing on xp or 2000 so take 98 or Nt4)

no any problem with 98 and the software is so good and fast that i was every min on the Dance floor because my next song was already in the rythem so i was waiting hehe

You need 2 Soundcarts and a Outside Mixer

visit my homepage and download a mix you will see

i have 2 sound cards and an external mixer. i have tried just about everything out there from atomix to PCDJ to traktor. however, i choose to use mixvibes pro with a skin that makes it look like a pair of cdj-700s. if you want something to practice on that will be as close to the real thing (mixing with cd players that is) as possible then go with mixvibes pro.

Posted by goonie on Oct-04-2002 11:14:

that is true

Yep i muss agree that Mixvibes pro is really Beautifull with her skin and you have exactly the same Pitch feeling with a normal Cd player
But they arent hotkeys to controll the pitch the pitch Bend and Cue and play and that is not so confortable certainely when you have one Hand on the Keyboard and the Other on the external Mixer.

what also great is that is that BPMstudio, deejasystem, Pcdj red Virtual turntables, Traktor all have a Picth that answer really Fast so you win enormours time for mixing and that is really great.

MP3 mixing is the Future, so easy so fast so confortable and if you choose Deejaysystem don't forget it s a freeware hihi lol

Try all of them and them Make your choice That is the best we can Say
