Get your first master FREE at Analogue Mastering

Yes! you read it correctly: 1 free master for every TA member.
And I want nothing in return. No likes, no subscriptions, nothing like that.

So why am I doing this? quite simple: The proof of the pudding is in the eating and I'm a strong believer in the word of mouth. This is the easiest way for you to experience what I can do for you. For me it's giving something back to TA: This promotion is a TA exclusive. Not available on any other forum.

Getting your free analogue master is easy:
go to www.analoguemastering.com click the wetransfer link, fill out your email (I need to send you your master back!) and your TA username in the comment field (so I know who you are). Within a couple of days you will either get feedback on your mix, or when the mix is ok, you get a wetransfer link to download your master.
That's all.

I will not add your email to an unsolicited mailinglist. Neither will I share any (parts) of your work. (unless you like me to )

The only rules are:
- 1 master per TA member, provide your USERNAME
- promotion runs till Friday 20th of December close of business CET.
- Rework is a premium

Do not hesitate to contact me if you have any further questions and don't be shy sharing your experience

Enjoy!

I would prefer some space to work with, I wrote a chapter called "getting prepared" with some considerations.

I think 2 things are important:
- don't try to deliver a master
- everything that's already in, can't be taken out anymore.

On the other hand a track is your vision, so I don't want to tell you how to mix. Just remind that mixing and committing plugins is a one-way street. When the street is overcrowded, I don't have means to reverse that proces.

very high level
- I prefer no clippers or saturators or anything software that tries to mimic analogue on the masterbus
- I would try to aim for a mixdown that can be done without severe clipping with a limiter on zero. the odd limiter kicking in at 1dB or so is fine, but when it's like 2,3,4dB all the time, the mix is too loud.

fair enough, i will send you a mix! thanks!

I will listen from a technical mix angle and provide feedback,
I will also, based on my taste give you feedback on instruments
Very often there is the same end in mind, but there are sometimes better ways to getting there. So for me mastering is about communication and having "the click" for the desired "end in mind" / result.

For me it's not just corrective EQ and requested loudness. It's about delivering your vision.

Thanx alot for doing this! Really nice of you!

this is really cool.

You're welcome guys!

First requests received, will be working on these later today.

I'm investigating VST Connect Pro. This platform should give customers the abillity to work live with me and have all the benefits of an attended session in their own studio, in full bitrate high res format. Not sure yet if it all works as advertized, but i'll for sure find out in the next couple of days.

I think L4C is quite envious of Raphi's carrier as a mastering engineer.

Posted by Deillon on Dec-03-2013 17:57:

That's a pretty nice thing to do, good luck with future sales!

lol. i think we have a different notion of what constitutes a career. I have a natural disgust for people that suck and have nice things. But it isn't like Raphie is under any delusion. I'm probably too hard on him. his name i=has something to do with it. Raphie. I don't know. ITs just like , buys 1000s in cables, then makes a post about having no money for a website. Shit like that. I don't know. I also lose complete respect for those people that skip the mix phase and master. People that do that do it because they just suck . it was ah epidemic 5 years ago. I should probably to some introspection and find out why I just want to lay on him. I mean people like him get abused in ways that make me a saint in most pro audio circles. Maybe i need to get in touch with my feelings.

he is a nice guy, i am a firecracker. it isn't some deep seated dislike. HE could pm me and ask me not to engage him and i would respect that. I like fucking with him.

That was an easy one. At first I thought you caught the trolling...
I felt you were somehow touchy on the issue, at least now I see your perspective...

Thanks for the laugh, you've always delivered with Raphie.

Prolly you still caught it, but wanted to specify anyway.

Posted by Looney4Clooney on Dec-03-2013 22:01:

he holds his own. If i felt i was hurting him , i would stop. He is a big boy.

Only just spotted this, cheers Raphie, I will get a track over. I completely have no competence in mastering or mixing really.

You're welcome Richard.

Thanks for the free master, excellent results, very happy.

If you haven't taken advantage of this then get on it, you would be a fool not to.

Mark
