Finally back!! Nordlicht - Within Each Of Us (Fatboy Remix)

Finally back to tranceaddict after a long pause I made a deal with myself that I wouldn't post in the forum before I finished off a tune, so I had some motivation to actually do a tune from start to finish.
Anyways, this is my remix of "Within Each Of Us" by Nordlicht. I tried to give it a smooth, driving feel. Also making it a bit different from the �obvious� route melody wise, since the original and the other remixes I�ve heard already covered that in an excellent way. I�m sure it could need some more polishing, but it was about time I finished it off.
This is only my second tune finished in midi (I used to use a program called MODPlug Tracker), with the first being the dreadful "Fast Encounter" for the previous remix comp, so please bear with me. I don�t recommend headphones for listening. The stereo field sound somewhat fucked with them on (It sounded ok on every other source I�ve tried). Lol, and try it pitched up a little, sounds pretty coolJ

One of the better remixes of this tune! It's Acctually really good!
The track has lots of elements that I like , one is the breakbeat part!

actually, the bridge reminds me a bit of rank 1 - awakening [Ferry Corsten Remix] wich is very good! so, u've made it very pro:istic! the bassline its so sweet!!!!! really enjoy it! so driving and.. synthy and as robstar said, the breakbeat part is lovely! puts the song even higher in level. be proud!

Hmm, very impressive.

One of the best, of the nordlicht remixes, and there has been a ton!

I liked the bass particularly and atmosphere.
Awesome synthie build up too ;=)

Btw, did you do a candyman theme tune?
I used to have a tune called that by a fatboy, and it owned, it was so awesome. If so can you please send it to me or something?

Thanks a lot for the kind words [nils] and McBigMac I really appreciate it. I noticed the similarity with Ferry's remix of Awakening, but that was in no way intentional.

McBigMac: Yes I did "The Candyman Theme" in 2000 I think. One of my first tunes regardless of software. I am actually thinking of "upgrading" it when i have time. It used to be on traxinspace.com, but that site is dead, so I'll see if I can find it on one of my backups Btw, I was in no way dissing Modplug, as I used it myself for a couple of years, including for the candyman tune

maybe its me but i think there's alittle mastering problem...
for example 7:24
too many instruments playing, and lots of distorshen, then again, maybe its me

i would add more reverb to the vocal... coz they sound abit dry
