Hi... What do you mean by "how"? I'm not sure what you mean by what DJ's shouldn't do.

What i meant was, BK if i remember correctly is High NRG/Hard House, The Ronski Mix of Sun Decade is Epic Trance or trance similar to Paul Van Dyk...

I guess you have to understand that its like mixing Dumonde to Paul Van Dyk....Different styles...

Thnxs for sharing, I have downloaded ur set and I am listenin to it now, up to track 5 so far
First 4 songs I hadnt heard of and wouldnt normally hav considered my style, but must admit I did enjoy them, well mixed and flows well IMO, oh yeh and nice equipment *jealous!!*

For a first mix it's really impressive! I can't wait to hear more from you!

Shame about the mix into 'Empire' though .. it's the only thing that slightly spoils an otherwise fantastic mix.

I think it sounded OK. But yes, switching genres should be done gradually. I think the best part of the set began at 11. Oceanforce, but the mixing between 14 and 15 was bad.

05 Veit to 06 Ayumi was really great.

The first part of your set (01-10) sounds more like one of those mix-cds rather than something played at a club. But I liked 11-15 more because it's more 'club' than the rest of the set. The mixing in the first part was ok though. Just keep in mind not to play a song too long if it's 'calm' like 02 Minimalistix. Even on a mix-cd it would just waste time. And try to make the entire mix either like a mix-cd or 'club-simulated'.
