Trance, House and Techno! CHECK!

I`m writing this essay for school and i need to know what differs techno from trance or trance from house and so on? its a classification type of essay so u know how it is.. if u could help with it itd be really helpful! thanks!

Well, on the general:

Trance is melodic, has a kind of a "plot", a developement throughout the track therefor not monotonous. Focuses on higher sounds- Synths, strings etc. >>> The commercial side of Trance would be EuroTrance etc. examples of artists are Ian Van Dahl, Lasgo, Vengaboys, Sash.

House - Focuses on low, bassy sounds, monotonous and not melodic.
>>> The commercial side leans towards Pop or Dance music affected by House - Artists like Kylie Minouge, DB Boulevard, Modjo.

Techno is monotonous, focuses on percussions, has a lot of variety both in sound and tempo.
