it was yahoo.com for sure! cause it was the easiest adress I could remember... and from there I could discover anything I wanted (at that time)... I had a 14.4 modem and was saying: "if this internet thing is worth it, i'll upgrade the modem to 28.8" hahahaha I was saying it as if Internet was a temporary trend...

I remember before I got internet, I used to write down those internet addresses I saw on TV.. One of those I wrote down was nba.com which I saw during an NBA game. So nba.com was probably the first site I visited.. or it could be playboy.com or something along those lines as well

haha me too exceppt it didnt say the word internet back in the old oens..about 8 years ago...it wasn't my computer it was my dads he just let me go online and play some matching card game

I was a bit shocked about the first page we had seen after it. We we're looking for "tattoos" or something, and then bloody altavista led us to a gay porn site It took me some time to trust in the net again

I think alot of people first go there for purposes of creating an email account with yahoo. Atleast that's the case with me.
