^^would be interesting to see the voting country breakdown of this poll.
a lot is based on exposure.
one of my favorites is Nodge, but from his lack of travelling just isnt known as well...
certainly not ditching Talabot/ Robot for this, though SRB isn't the perfect venue either
Excellent DJ and Producer. Not to be missed......except if it's at Pacha, then you just miss everyone who spins there because it's not worth it.
^^^
it wasn't that bad for Hector recently, really.
I did have something of a "man this is a dump" vibe, but that was prob. being a little unfair, as there isn't anything in particular that brought that on, but overall, not a bad night
(had I known/realized that he's at Output, would have deferred to then of course)
I missed him at output so I might venture to this one

see calender list .
SR is one of the artists/groups on DFA.
IMO, DFA as a label, stands for quality, and can be attended without knowing much more.
Like Gary Oldman ,or Kubrick, you dont go wrong with either, even if thats all you know...
(doesnt mean you'll like it, plenty of people dont like Kubrick, but he didn't make one bad movie...).
see diablo comment about Talabot in listing
I still have time do decide.. But I really wanted to check hot 82 out
slightly different take from me. i think he's a GREAT basic house dj. he's not a journey dj as far as i can tell, but don't speak from experience. i saw him for a couple hours at flash in dc and danced my pants off. he drops the kind of 90s house grooves i loved in the 90s, with a modern flavor and that uk bassy house sound and his mixing is definitely very much in the moment and traditional (often cdjs and no traktor).
as for production, he's talented but overhyped as hell. people are going crazy praising his productions which are just decent to my ears, though i do love The End. (fond memories of sasha @ stereo and older memories of pvd playing reflekt - need to feel loved!)

btw i find his musical bio to support my own take above. he's a dj first, has paid dues and handled boxes of vinyl, long before he learned how to produce
