please help, progressive lovers...
well i've decided to make a demo cd from my progressive house records, but still i can't decide what records to use, and which order should i use them.
please help me do it, the tracks are:
hybrid - visible noise + know youre enemy
pilavian & zimbardo - late night return (original)
accorsi & bassetti - concord (original)
kwirky - sweat (freeloader mix)
pound system - never come down (dark alley mix)
moogroove - duece (mara chooicide remix)
deep amok - darkness + shades
minilogue - the breeze (we can see it mix)
lyric & nataly - over emotion (smart system souvenir mix)
ice cream social - woven air (abstract art mix)
north atlantic - mind filter (trendroid croc hunter remix)
greed feat. lesley - strange world (lemon8 remix)
ekkoheads - hypnotic seduction (original mix)
spacefunk - evilmoogafooga (main mix)
schmuel flash - chilling moments (bedrock dub)
hamel - close (evolution ambient mix)
j.f sebastian feat kaz - burden (lemon 8 inner sanctuary mix)
moshic - indian moon + not in front of you
flash - the day after + megatron
i would appreciate any help about my issue
alot of good traks...its a mess though..take some time and listen to each one and configure how ya ganna start etc..END the demo with flash the day after BTW
i've listened to them all but i can find a rational connection only between some of them, i've found some similar samples on a few tracks, which mix together really nice, but i really need some help.
i've figured that i want to open with
hybrid - visible noise.

All hybrid tunes are classic. Make sure u stick one in there, I usually find that the end of a mix is appropriate due the fucking impossibility to mix another track in
I havent heard all the tunes on ur list, but u got a Bedrock Mix in there and Spacefunk are always welcome
Have fun...
I'd start with some more or less techy / tribal tracks.. like the bassetti & accorsi and moshic ones.. and slowly work towards some more melodical stuff (chilling moments for instance, or burden)

and you never said how long your demo will be, that has a lot to do with it.
thank you for your posts so far,
the demo cd should be about 70 minutes,
i will try to mix some of your suggestions just for fun and see how it goes...
i dont want to post my opinion, or i will get flamed by somebody like:
tranzlucent
dj shorts
mr mystery
or many other asses of the same variety...
It's always tough to pick the right tracks and then decide where to put them in a mix. What I do (because I love the shit) is listen to each one numerous times and eventually you get a feeling of where something else can transition in nicely and continue the flow. Vague but true.
