You're top event of 2013?
End of the year is here, what was you're best event/club/night out of 2013?
Mine was EDC Vegas 2013-
As much as I hate big douche bag fests with 18 year olds in underwear and shit electro pop DJ's, I have to give it to Insomniac this year. Great diversified line up, amazing production, and over all well organized event.
Burning Man
BPM
All Day I Dream at that big ranch.
I didn't go to too many big parties this year and I spent the last 4 months exiled in Ithaca, but my favorite show I attended was the Crew Love party at Mezzanine back in May.
Soul Clap
Wolf + Lamb
Pillowtalk (live)
Navid Izadi
Nick Monaco
Crowd was good, music was on point all night, and Pillowtalk played during peak time and totally killed it. Really special show.

Life and Death downtown warehouse party in Feb
Digweed @ Exchange in June
Blond:ish pool party in SD around July
Get Lost LA @ the Egyptian in Aug
notables:
Richie @ Exchange in Oct. Could have been better if it was a Saturday night instead of a Friday where they close down at 3. So he only played 2.5hrs and I think he needs more time to evolve.
Sasha @ Exchange in Nov. Wasnt great wasnt bad. Good overall set but nothing too crazy or stand out.
Toss up between Lightning in a Bottle and Symbiosis. They were both amazing.
Single night...? That is tough.. Pretty lights (band) in SF was pretty fucking amazing. It's not often you see a full band play for THREE HOURS. Kalya Scintilla at 1015 was incredible. A lot more I could list...
But to answer the question, best single sets of 2013 goes to..
#1) Bluetech @ Symbiosis
#2) Desert Dwellers @ Lightning in a Bottle
I actually think that Bluetech at Symbiosis has been one of my all time favorite shows, ever.
Armin @ Marquee Vegas
Ben Klock @ Droid back in March
Dixon @ Sound
Digweed @ EXLA in June
Burning Man...(Trox, Jamie Jones, Art Dept, Pachanga Boys, Guy Gerber, Soulclap, Cattaneo, Blond:ish, Burridge, Bob Moses, Thug******, etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc)
January:
HEAR - Suol Showcase: Daniel Bortz, Chopstick and Johnjon
BPM - Life & Death Party
March: HEAR - Blond:ish
April: BASK - Shonky & Safeword
May: HEAR - Michael Mayer
September: Laurent Garnier @ Output
Can't remember the month but:
Lee Burridge @ Sound
Butane @ Voodoo

Markus Schulz on the Groove Cruise LA.
Armin van Buuren at The Palladium - Sort of a mini Armin Only Intense show. I was surprised that he had all of the singers perform live that night.
Digweed Sunset Cruise at WMC - First time going to this. Great intimate party.
Bal en Blanc in Montreal - Armin, Ferry and Markus were so-so but Nicole Moudaber was amazing that night/morning. I just wish I could have stayed until the end but she went on from 6:30 - 8:45AM and I was dead tired.
Markus at Avalon for NYE and the Scream release party - Both nights of marathon sets and the floor to ceiling LED panels they brought in just for the Scream show were massive.
EDC Las Vegas - Great improvement on the production, plenty of artists to keep me entertained all 3 nights (although I missed having the Q-Dance stage) and no problem with the shuttles.
Carl Cox, Adam Beyer, UMEK and Guy J at Space Ibiza - Great line up in multiple rooms at my favorite club on the island.
Digweed at Destino Ibiza - Free party, small intimate venue, and not crowded at all.
Jordan Suckley at Amnesia Ibiza - Above and Beyond was more of the same and I was thinking of leaving but Jordan's great trance set kept me there until he finished.
Deep LA "Remember" - All vinyl set with Marques Wyatt and Doc Martin. Great night of house classics complete with an occasional record skipping.
Transmission 10th Edition in Prague - The most impressive lighting production of any event I've ever been to. Not super crowded, and the arena filled with Funktion-One sounded incredible.
The DJ Mag Top 100 Djs 2013 party. I saw the whole after-set from Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and Hardwell, and it was really good. Here's the award ceremony:
