Thumbs down if this ain't proof

The over modding, trolling alts, and butthurt bitchassness that is the decline of lulz in the cor is clearly being displayed in 2014.

Bring back the salty ass tampon sluts and breathe life into the cor

neo cor, like regular cor except all the noises are cut up into tiny little beeps so we can feel all avant garde about it

Help me classify this style of music...

Or it might just be on account of the fact that forums die, even the ones with little to no moderation. And 'tranceaddict' isn't a slogan that seems very attractive to a post-2010 dance music neophyte. Maybe 'trouseaddict' would see more success.

Perhaps we should emigrate en masse to another electronic music community and start raising hell.

I think we'd have a jolly-ol' time on RA.

tranceaddict is part of our identities at this point. It was how I found out about most of the parties and music I'd gotten into over the past 15 ish years. We joked and argued and shared way too much to the internets, hell I think I made a post here on the morning after I got laid the first time.

Part of me wants all the embarrassing shit I've posted to go away, but the rest of me would have a hard time parting with this place, despite the shitty state of things at the moment.

Things might bounce back, facebook seems to be on the decline, some of the regional ta sections still post the occasional event or demo mix, it isn't beyond hope quite yet.

They still talk about music on trancefix, I've found a number of nice things over there.

I've lurked there a couple times. Kinda reminds me of where Trance.nu was before that site went kaput.

...and I've had to put up with a lot of flak for that...especially in the pre-facebook era. DJs/producers aren't fans of people being brutally honest and critical.

Some people take it too far....but it's better than everyone kissing ass all the time. How boring is that?

Well personally I think the inconsistent moderation of censor bypassing sucks dick.

I personally just think most of the people are shit. Most of the interesting characters are long gone.

C'est la vie.

Heh, I hear you. You have to be a huge trance fan to really into trancefix. Still, I appreciate the youthful enthusiasm, one hopes that it rubs off a little as we all start turning 30.

I don't think it is quite trance.nu levels, they are far from techno aficionados but they aren't exactly sucking the armada&anjuna teats either.

Still, we all know facebook is gonna go the way of myspace. One wonders where the fandom will go after that happens. It is hard to convey musical enthusiasm over instagram, it being entirely picture based and all. I guess there is lots of dance music related activity on reddit, but it is overwhelmingly links to youtube vids of things that are 10 years old, content presented based on popularity doesn't really provide much exposure to the new.

Maybe there is no point to further discussion and hangout, and we should just go to last.fm and soundcloud
