usb memory sticks
hey, looking at getting one of these for school...so i don't have to keep buying/burning cd-rs

anyone know some good ones to recommend (~128-256mb)...only preferences are that i've noticed some don't need drivers, so that would be heaps cool...and that some are bootable (not really needed, just curious about it
)
errmm...just incase u don't know what i'm on about...here's a link
http://www.compucon.com/countries/a...r/flexistor.htm
so anyone use something like this?
pros/cons?!?!
thanks!!!
Why have i never heared of this? This must have gone right under my nose..ive heared of all this shit except this! weird!
looks kinda cool, but i always have my doubts about new stuff like that...give it a while and see what the word is

| Windows 98 users install a driver off the supplied CD-ROM |

I remember first seeing these while I was looking through a Air Mall magazine on the airplane while I was going to Arizona in August. I thought they were a good idea but forgot to price them when I came back home. How much do they cost cause I might buy one?
hmm...they're going for about USD$60 here (AUD$130) for a 128mb flash stick (thanks drizzt

)
think i'm after the usb one 'cos it's sooooooo much smaller!
well...i'll keep shopping around to see what's available
thanks!!!

Using one of these would be much easier than toying around w/ a zip drive and carting it from house to house (which is how I currently transfer data to a friends house). |
