Favorite Complete Album?

Growing up I can remember when SOAD's Toxicity came out, or Eminems The Eminem Show and loving every song on those albums. Quite a feat. Normally you seem to get a couple good songs with most being pretty average or trash. Some you dont even know why the hell they even made the cut. I am curious as to what everyones favorite EDM albums are?

If I was to state an obvious one, id say Tiesto's Just Be. But as of late ive found myself enjoying Andy Stott's Luxury Problems and The Soft Moons The Soft Moon.

These were my two favorite albums of 2013. I can't say either had a song that I didn't like.

Empire of The Sun - Ice on the Dune

Tegan and Sara - Hearthrob

was never really a fan of the artist album - at all. i don't know, there is just something about them i dislike in general. i can think of scant examples that have excited me. pvd's out there and back was awesome, and I still have seven ways and BT's ima... that's about it.

have always favoured a carefully crafted mix cd.

If I had to pick just one...

Electronic? Probably something by New Order, Cabaret Voltaire, maybe Front 242. Prodigy's Music For The Jitled Generation is a possible contender. I dunno, I've been buying 12"s for so long, haven't invested in a full album in years.

Some from recent memory...

FSOL - Dead Cities
Asura - Life
GZA - Liquid Swords
Ice Cube - AmeriKKKa's Most Wanted
Public Enemy - Apocalypse '91
Felix Da Housecat - Kittenz And Thee Glitz
L.S.G. - Into Deep
Carbon Based Lifeforms - Hydroponic Garden
Deltron 3030 - Deltron 3030
Gorillaz - Demon Days

I could easily go on and on, if I filtered through everything I own. Though to be honest, whether I think any of these albums could legitimately be considered 'complete' is still a subjective experience. In the end, isn't this just another "list your favorites" thread?

probably, my picks were based on which albums I've listened to and enjoyed every track of. albums that I can still listen to in the full and not get bored by a single song. that pretty much qualifies for being your favorite album I guess.

Posted by SYSTEM-J on Jan-24-2014 08:12:

I think you probably don't listen to many albums if enjoying every track immediately qualifies one as "favourite ever".

I definitely don't. But "immediately" isn't fair, it has to stand the test of time.

"Complete album" meaning some sort of a theme running throughout here.

Porcupine Tree - Fear Of A Blank Planet
Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here
Pepe Deluxe - Queen Of The Wave
