Cool NISSAN 350z

Ok so I'm most likely going to get a nissan 350z, im gona keep it for lets say 3 years. Only 1 problems, stick or automatic (tip tronic). Stick is faster ofcourse, and its a sports car so ya its fun. Tip tronic is easier, less hastle and no clutch n all that but its 5 speed, instead of 6 speed manual, this car has 287 horses, and i duno which to get, to me auto isnt all that bad cuz its got tip tronic, and i dont plan to race like hell or nething maybe a few here and their on streets or whatever, and its less of a hastle. But then again other peoples perspective is gay on auto "OMG how gay why did you get auto" and shit like that, so i duno its a hard choiceee... ne suggegstions.

- By the way im not pro with stick i kno how to do it, but im not all that good, i learned like a month ago and right after i stopped stalling i never tryed again, so i duno if itll be good for first car stick.

That new Mazda RX-8 looks great too.

But a Nissan Skyline on the other hand has 4 wheel drive and can be tuned to 900 hp.

That sounds fun: "hey my car has more power than Schumacher's Ferrari.."

Heh, i remember playing Gran Turismo, where u could charge this similar car to Nissan Skyline and after all these racing stuff u got over 900hp and top speed over 400 km/h.

I dont see the point of buying an automatic sports car. You have much more control with a manual. Yeah it sucks in traffic of a city, but it more then makes up for it when you get it out on a country road.

I'm thinking about a 350z also. Cant decide on an Audi TT, the 350z, or just hanging on to my Porsche 944s2.

Yes, 350Z is nice...but I, on the other hand, am much much MUCH more impressed with 300ZX TT. The stock on that car is amazing , 350Z isn't worth the money. I even like the more rugged look that 300ZX has. Those are the best of the series I believe. The stock on that car is 300 hp / 283 ft lbs torque, has a HICAS 4 wheel steering system and its VERY easy to upgrade your engine. *dool*

mmm the new 350z looks sexa!

i guess it can be a hard choice, you can be like the crowd and be cool and get a manual, but youll have to replace the clutch which is annoying I say go for the automatic if you enjoy the beauty of the car and stuff, but if you wanna race or like the shifting then go for manual.

i would go for manual, its funner.

If you drive a lot in the city then auto is more suitable.

i dont agree with that at all.

sure the TT has turbo, but thats about it. its a boat of a car, and youll be replacing the clutch yearly with that power/weight. comparitively, the 350 isnt that expensive, and its a far superior auto in every sense. the non ability to tune it or whatever will be remedied shortly|

ooooh nice choice in cars. the 350Z i mean. sweet design, looks more expensive then how much it is, a great deal and GET A MANUAL!!! if you never drove a manual sports car then you should get it. you wont regret it. all my freinds that have automatic sport cars all regret getting it in automatic after driving my car. they all decided to get a manual for their next car. i drive in traffic all the time. i live in los angeles and after awhile driving maunual becomes second nature and you dont even notice it.

GET A MANUAL!

get a manual bud..you'll thank yourself later

Z > TT... Sure Audi is more of a brand than Nissan, but, hell, like someone said, Z is superior in every way, it looks cooler, etc etc...

As for manual or auto, probably manual (I'm not even sure they make those auto anyway), tho if it's a car for the city and not for the big road, tip tronic is okay: that way you can have your hand on the passager's lap instead of the shift, lol...

34,619$$$ US isn't that expensive? Its not a FAR superior auto. The fact that is I don't know enough about 350 to compare them. I know the difference in price, and I know the fact that I like 300ZX much more than 350 - at which I was dissapointed when it first came out. I expected a far better car considering its predecessor 300ZX. Which, by the way, cost 1/2 of a 350ZX and offers practically the same performance with and even better 0-60 1/4 times. Sure its an old car, and you'll have to replace things as time passes, but a solid investment of 5K$ will keep it running for 100,000 miles more. But hey, its all numbers. Im just a sucker for older cars

Oh ya, GET MANUAL!!!!!!

well when you consider it beats or paces with the boxter/TT, 36 isnt that bad. its more true to the original ideal of the z too|

I cant see the Z handeling quite as well as the TT or the Boxter. I just havent seen a Japanese car that can handel as well as a German car can. Though the old Datsun 280z came close(Till my dad forgot the hand brake and it rolled into a tree). I never got a chance to drive the 300z. I chose my Porshce over one of them, without even test driving the Z. Think I'm going to have to test drive all of them this time. At this point I'm leaning twards the TT coup. I'm also curious to see what BMW is going to do with the Z4.
