markus schulz scream 2 release party at sound tmw
anybody going? its gonna be my first time at sound. hows the venue?
We're going. We haven't been to Sound either. Most of our friends don't think much of it but we shall see.

I'll be there as well. The venue is too small for Markus and the arrangement is kind of weird in that the stage is very wide and the dance floor too short. At least you can see the stage from most of the area around the dance floor. But it's another club that caters primarily to tables. In fact they advertise they still have some tables available.

i like it. dancefloor is decent size IMO in relation to the overall size of the venue.
was thinking about going but not sure I can make it...
if its anything like his GDJB thats on right now on AH.FM then im glad im not going... that club sounds too small for someone like Markus and his army #justsaying
I think Sound is a great venue, it just caters to DJs who don't pull in quite the size crowds as Markus does. If the "Hollywood" types intimidate you or for some reason bother you enough that you let them ruin your fun, then you probably won't like it.
it was big enough for Armin and Kaskade
can't wait!
WOW! what a night.
this is how you do an album release party. surprisingly, markus played hard throughout, even sprinkled in some techno here and there. overall great vibe, markus was just up there having an amazing time. out of the 30+ times i've seen him, this is up there as far as being such a good well balance set. i wish he played for 4 hrs, but oh well.
love the venue too, nice grungy feel but still nice, unlike create which just seems like a big open room.

they need to exercise a bit more control over people jumping all into the dj booth like total assclowns. i couldn't believe markus didn't punch some of them in the face, good god... if i was trying to mix and i had 3 people screaming and shoving their phones in my face i'd def lose it.
still a fun night though and yeah, wished he would have gone till 4, but it was a thursday and he's got two long gigs coming up tonight/saturday so i didn't expect him to go for too long.
Markus was really on fire last night, and nobody was there to put it out!
So many deep, dark, techy "Rabbit Hole" TM tracks too, wasn't expecting that at an album release party. Awesome crowd and vibe too, just a few rough spots like when that girl was up there singing on stage. Overall, Los Angeles was there to represent, such an amazing night!
and wtf is up with people smoking in the club? That was my only issue with the club.
People smoke in every club. I was surprised though to see the lady that was next to Markus (lights?) smoke.

Great night as expected as Markus always delivers. Really enjoyed the set. Like Sound a lot. Has a more intimate feel. Don't understand what my friends are bitching about.
awesome night! digging the new tracks off scream 2. theres a bunch of cheesy vocal tracks but still has that big room sound that i love. good running into modthispny and greg.
