Yea, I think I might have to make a pitstop in NYC to see CC on the 16th and Garnier on the 18th before flying to Berlin.

Nice little start to the vacation

That's an interesting thought.

see Disturbance,Thursdaysat Arena (to me, like a more industrial Output), and the New Faces night Wednesday at Tresor
(most likely know those I bet)

Oh yea... I've got my Berlin trip mapped out to a T (hope to get into Berghain, as well).

I've been itching to see Garnier for a long time now, though, and this seems like the perfect opportunity since I want to fly to Berlin in late April (around Easter weekend). Carl Cox on the 16th is just an added bonus.

With the right planning, it'll be quite the trip

lol, I might just be at a same event as you, am south of Berlin end of April myself, and def plan on going up for some stuff, prob that techno Thursday at Arena I mentioned, but no Klubnacht alas, no free Sat. nights. unfortunately

here's one that might just shout:
DETOUR via the 'dam while on route to Berlin,

http://www.residentadvisor.net/event.aspx?540074
line-up, damn!
great venue also.

Too many detours, not enough cash flow lol.

Looks like a cool party, though - literally (kind of cold for camping in April).

not camping though, you'd have to go way outside of Amsterdam for that.
so you get to stay in a real bed, not even too pricey with the right booking (60-80 per night is possible).
but yeah, can't be done a shoe string...

Berghain:
was curious what's on that Easter wknd.
no Klubnacht this time, only Panorama Bar.
Big room is open, but it's men only, here's what you'll get if you brave Berghain, lol:

"Man meat in action: as every year around Easter, Snax Club will be serving the most delicious sodomitical debaucheries at open-for-men-only Berghain. More information will be following soon"

Yea, not really in the mood to overload myself with too much either way.

There's plenty to see and do in Berlin and other areas I plan to visit that I think I'll be quite fine missing out

As for Berghain, I wouldn't be going Easter weekend, anyways (I'm flying in that weekend). I'll be in the area for two weeks.

Either the following weekend (26th) or the first weekend in May (I'm sure there will be something proper scheduled then).

Forgive my ignorance, but is there a way to find out Berghain's schedule that far ahead by any chance?

Seems to me they release information on a month-by-month basis

Posted by CarS on Feb-08-2014 16:15:

their website seems to dribble out the info as time goes by, from headliner to the full line up, but never checked how far out it is fully complete.
BTW, close to, they also list set times.
if you see Innen & Aussen on the list the night you're there, make sure to see some of that set, pretty good.
(even more so for Nodge, if hes there on your night, not to be missed )
and, dont forget to look at the picture in the far corner diag. across from booth in Panorama, lol
