Whatever Happened to: Judge Jules
Last year I was loving Judge Jules sets. Maybe I'm living in a bubble here on the musically challenged east coast, but where did he go? I haven't heard a peep about him. It's as if he's disappeared. Did he change his name or something? What the hell. His non-M.O.S. sets where really good.
hes still playing on Radio one each week and in clubs in the UK
I cannot find a single current liveset from him online. Any ideas where I can look? Is he playing good and hard or did he crap out like some of the other last years favorites who shall go unnamed?
cough, cough, tiesto, cough.....
there is one from qontact this year and also from Mega aplac(spelling) danceparty
there is also Judge Jules frm Orgasmatron.

Ummm well he still has his radio show every saturday 5pm till 7pm GMT - www.bbc.co.uk/radio1
And i have seen him a lot, as wella s in person this yeah
And he ran his very succesful club night called judgement sunday throughout the ibiza season.
He has been very busy, but has maninly been between the uk and ibiza, surte that will change now ibiza has shut up for winter
i see his sets all the time...

he's become just another jaded big-name DJ who doesn't care to please the crowd. you won't hear many of his recorded livesets because his management agency doesn't allow his sets to be recorded.
Ahhh nuts, looks like he sucked out. Oh well, I'll move on!!!

This thread proves my point about the sheep factor on this forum

| Originally posted by flystyler No he hasnt, far from it, if anything he is near top form again. Seen him many times this yeah, and atm he is spinning really well. I imagine the people who said he sucked havent even seen him this year |
Ever since the end of last year he's been shit, but I've heard he's been back on form in the last couple of months. I don't really think much of his Radio 1 show though....
As Fly said, now the Ibiza season is over he'll be doing more gigs elsewhere in the world.
Excite: His managment agency don't allow his sets to be recorded? I don't know any agency that would give permission
But sets are still broadcast on radio shows and they can't stop anybody pressing 'record' can they?
he's coming this halloween to Monster Massive (as the headliner) on the west coast.
I'm searching for his newer sets online. I'm just hoping to find something new to convince me against those who don't like him. I'm gonna check out his show though.

yea he is playin pretty well - i saw him on friday @ godskitchen and he went off.. crowd lovd it
Agreed about Jules - he's back on his game. I expected a mish-mash of hard banging rubbish on Saturday in Melbourne, but was pleasantly surprised with a fairly well crafted set. Started with an some techno (an Umek track), and built his set nicely, with peaks at about 45 mins (Rank 1 - Awakening), 90 mins and 120 mins, with Ligaya. Set up the crowd PERFECTLY for Armin, who then played one of his best sets ever (and not just cos I was there and fucked; I've got soooo many of his livesets and this topped almost all of them). So Jules kinda faded into the shadows a bit, but I really enjoyed his set. If that was shit, then I don't know anything about trance.
