Club Space Terrace remodel has begun

any of you guys know exact plans? or is it just a fresh paint job haah Donnie?

Whatever goes into the design, I sure hope the acoustics gets priority over aesthetics... decorations have been a little the past year and new stuff to look at would be cool, but the sound HAS to be right

They probably won't be doing too much since the Terrace will open this weekend

Honestly, I have no clue what they are doing. I know it will be completely finished by Miami Music Week. I'm guessing every week will be a different stage.

The Loft is amazing. When I came to Space in December I was really impressed with the change. It feels like a proper underground warehouse party.

It really does. I believe all the windows on the wall are from old warehouses around town.

now if only they would fix the mainroom!

i dont want them to kill the loft because it gives the terrace more space when they open things up. although i always did like being able to look down on the mainroom from upstairs. youd always catch people doing some crazy shit.

what i do want them to do though is change the mainroom from wide back to looooong. having the big ass boxes in the back was always the shit. standing on those and looking down a long room with everyones hands in the air and the bright ass floodlight strobes kicking with the horn and cryo going off. just unreal. and they should really get rid of that front room and combine that with the mainroom. then it would be massive again.

I hear you on that but all you really get is the overflow which did open up anyway for the terrace after the main was done.

That main room was just legendary. Like you said, the boxes in the back, the one box in the front, and I remember even in the really early days they had some against the wall where the dj is now. There was no better main room anywhere compared to this. I know two stories is wishful thinking now but changing the dj back to the long way like you said would be great.
