Lost Plane
Theories, thoughts, analysis, or unabashed water cooler talk...
it flew into space
I wish Theresa was around for this topic...:[
Lol
Made me think about Theresa's parachute idea, although the lack of o2 could be an issue.
Why don't they make the plane out of the same material that the black box is made of?
or out of old tires
all right good night
Do you own a passport? What would you do if, god forbid, something were to happen to the country & elections would be called off? What would you do if the country is struck with another 9/11 and immigration ceases to issue passports? you would have nowhere to go. Your bank accounts would be useless. What if there is martial law?
USA USA USA!!

It's either in the Indian Ocean or somewhere in Kazakhstan.
When they mentioned the possibility of a hijacking, the family members of the crew rejoiced, as the latter may still be alive somewhere.
ya it going down in the indian ocean makes no sense to me. why would he turn off the transponders??? just to troll the families after the pilot is dead??? i think thats a bit too much. definitely hijacked.
I am not into conspiracy theories but it would make sense to tell the world they found some wreckage if it did get hijacked. Keeps people flying and not looking for blood.

The simplest explanation is looking to be the most plausible one. Someone hijacked the plane, told the pilots to go someplace they didn't have fuel for, and then they crashed. It looks like they were possibly trying to get to Australia if there is actually a debris field like they think they have found.
Most hijackings actually are for people seeking asylum or for other reasons unrelated to terrorism.
If the plane ran out of fuel and crashed in the drink at night it's not that surprising it be hard to find.
Btw, can you make phone calls at cruising altitude over the ocean? I've never tried making a call in flight.
Simplest and most logical theory I've found so far...
http://www.wired.com/autopia/2014/0...lectrical-fire/
this was debunked
1. Spaceship tractor beam. Would you rather have your love ones dead or abducted by aliens?
2. Death by sam or aam. Don't think you'd be quick to fessup to that kinda screw up.
The only logical explanation: Zombie outbreak mid-flight, between Malaysia and Vietnam.

Tempus Fugit.
I think the cabin-depressurisation theory sounds plausible. Everyone lost consciousness, pilot lent on the yoke (sp?) which made the plane to 45,000 feet then back down and wherever else, next.
I've heard that it flew anything from 5 to 8 hours after last comms with ground control. But surely even after that, it would continue to glide for nearly another hour? I followed the AF447 thing almost every week for the 3 years it took to solve, but this might simply never be solved.
The other thing that is absurd, is I bet countries are still sat on radar / satellite info and are not releasing, purely because of military exposure as to how advanced / inept their radar is.
langoliers imo
