Noel Sanger is a weak dj...he doesnt deserve to be next in line after tiesto...even though i dont favor tiesto that much anymore

Posted by Clyde77 on Oct-09-2002 14:58:

nettwerk should have let tiesto do the summerbreeze II.
too bad. noel sanger is alright. but progressive? hmm i dont know bout this.

by the way noel sanger did the trance II which wasnt that good.
trance I was alright

Nothing wrong with Noel Sanger the producer though.. He's made some good tracks like 'Breathe Here & Now' and 'Subterfuge'.

The tracklisting doesn't seem that interesting to me though.. But maybe it surprises me when I given it a listen, which I'll do for sure. I won't judge anything until I've heard it.

well noel sanger was one of the first trance djs i got into.

i dont know what the big problem everyone has with him taking the reins...shit tiestos summerbreeze wasnt even all that good - more like a 'greatest hit' compilation.

sanger is a miami dj as far as im concerned, and i dont know how his progression from a nearly straight trance dj into breaks and prog will go. his Trance: State of Altered Conscience is an EXCELLENT cd, and would most likely impress even the most jaded Europeans...even if the title is stupid|

i haven't heard too much about this noel sanger character, but i like his remix of flesh and he seems to big an up and coming talent so i'll definitely check this one out.

Tiesto dropping out of the Summerbreeze comp. too...jeez, what's next? The end of the Magik series?

well no. i think that magik 8 will be coming shortly tho i dont know when...and i didnt even know summerbreeze was planned as a series. and didnt really care for that matter - ISOSs and magiks were always much better|

sorry sanger bored me to hell at a big party here in calgary he was before tiesto...

if you like progressive then you will like his style

i heard tiesto is working on his next album in jan/feb as he has those months off

Obviously you are not into progressive.. so many different prog. styles out there.. Liking one prog. DJ doesn't mean you like all progressive..

Posted by Aldrian on Oct-10-2002 02:19:

he's

he's the one that did "Trance A State of Altered Consciousness" I think. Either volume one or two. I consider him really weak. I wouldn't get htis one. The tracklisting doesn' appeal to me.

Posted by escee on Oct-10-2002 02:27:

I would defineatly prefer that tiesto did it, or at least another trance dj. I dont think that progressive fits the Summerbreeze title. However ive never heard this DJ before so who knows.

well you obviously didnt read the thread...

and going by your logic you have NO idea how good this will turn out, so i give up.

i say wait! and im POSITIVE someone will either bash the shit out of, or praise the shit out of this cd|

looks to me like Sanger is just promoting tracks made by him....I won't be getting this

Posted by dark_tenshi on Oct-10-2002 06:25:

Not the best tracklist, but will just have to see how well he programs the CDs.

Posted by Cobalt on Oct-10-2002 07:10:

Many of my favorite producers/DJs from a few years ago have left trance for progressive, such as Deepsky, Christopher Lawrence, and Noel Sanger.

I still maintain that Trance II: A State of Altered Consciousness is one of the best mixes I own. I never get tired of it. However with his much more progressive style these days, I'm not sure how much I'll like the new Summerbreeze. We'll see.

I miss those days of prog-trance. Now there is such a gap between the two genres.

Smiley DJ

Noel Sanger doesnt seem to be that good.. maybe Tiesto should have done it again.. but again no harm giving others a chance...

Posted by Seventh City on Oct-10-2002 07:32:

Why are you people saying Noel Sanger isnt good? Have you listened to his 2 new tunes "Bardo Thotrol" and "Towards the One" yet? They are both brilliant and kick tiestos ass!

Or how baout his new AMAZING remix of Penton and Duran - Control Factor?

I can just throw his remix of flesh in there too, and these are just recent works. Pity on your souls...
