I like because it looks classy and sounds nice compared to my ol itunes imo.

mpg123

There is the command line player called "mpg123".

It don't use any cpu or ram....

There are some settings you can pass to it that help.

c:\mpg123 -oh --cpu SSE --cpu MMX --cpu i586 c:\trance.mp3

OR you can play your internet streaming radios with it.

c:\mpg123 -oh --cpu SSE --cpu i586 http://5.63.150.125:80
