This spurred me to look up the PADI guidelines for the 200yd test- turns out they let people do 300 with gear in the US, but don't allow it in Europe. America!

You need to score atleast 3 points from that test.

Points: Time
5: under 6 min, 30 sec.
4: 6 min, 30 sec. to 8 min, 40 sec.
3: 8 min, 40 sec. to 11 min
2: 11 to 13 min
1: more than 13 min

I just looked this up there are no yards in Europe

Op: don't ask don't tell even though I'm flattered the lengths you have gone to seek our approval.

Nice, think I did mine under 7. Those first few laps were easy! I'm gonna nail thiii... hoooo shit.

I'm griping more about the fact that Americans are apparently allowed to use snorkel and fins if they up the range to 300 (still a ridiculous crutch) whereas they don't allow that to pass in Europe because fucking duh, that's not the point of a physical fitness test.

I just imagine a platoon of recruits running through suburbia, jumping over fences, and swimming across the swimming pools

All fine except you ought be bald and look like someone that would never get invited to the cool parties. People that run and take cardio too seruously and over 30 tend to be twats that wear ridiculous clothing that I will understand the purpose other than to let people know you take your cardio seriously.

I am calling bullshit on 50 pull ups as well.

maybe chin ups.....maybe....doubt that as well.. but no way in hell pull ups unless you weigh 90 lbs

if you can do 50 pulls ups non stop you are definitely not doing them right

If you ran 1.5 miles at 0.8 miles per hour, it would take you 112.5 minutes.

Maybe he has no legs. So that's why he could do so many pullups but only ran at 0.8 miles per hour.
