Yes, most definately. It's expensive but it's quality.

An alternative is to get an audiophile card (2in/2out) (excellent sound quality) and a mixer with say 12 or 16 inputs. I think this would be cheaper and it would almost work in the same way. You could get some effect boxes and some compressors and hook them up with the mixer.

How are you going to use the delta 1010?

and for the monitors I don't know. I haven't heard them or read any reviews of them. But if wouldn't buy any monitors without trying them first.. and comparing them to other monitors.

I'm happy with my passive Tannoy Reveals. I'm sure they are not the best out there but they are cheap and they works well with me

The 1010 looks sweet enuf, i got the delta 44 n if all the 1010 ins n outs are standard TRS which i think they are id love it. I could actually use all 6 outputs from the virus and have my decks plugged in and at the mo i can only have 4 outputs from the virus used which is a bit of a waste.

As for the speakers, iv got them I love em but i havent really had a chance to compare them with ne others. I got em for 200 from digital village on special offer which was a very good price. There frequency response is flat and if you want more bass you can get the m-audio sub but i wouldnt bother, an 8inch woofer is enough for a studio me thinks.

buy the interface dood...for real ! i own one and it is absolutely perfect great a/d and d/a conversion & balanced ins & outs, and even adat lightpipe..mmmm....too bad they didnt make xlr pluggies for it. but im thinkin of purchasing a grace mic preamp for under $800 **and the latency is extremely low !! i can go to between 2-4ms latency in cubase sx ((running a badass comp, though))

you will definitely not be dissapointed by this audio interface. its brilliant
