where to stay in adelaide???
need some help from the adelaide tranceaddict crew...
a few mates and i are gonna be in adelaide in late january and we're wondering if someone can point us in the direction of some accomodation in the way of cheap hotels and so forth...
maybe a website or two would be handy
help is muchly appreciated
www.wotif.com usually has some good deals on standby accomodation. Used them a couple of times for some last minute bookings.
Well the question is how cheap and what type of accomodation yo9u want?? Do you want hotel/motel accomodation? Close to CBD? Or do you guys want a flat/appartment for a while? And how long for? Eek, so many questions.
well... the thing is we're staying at the University of SA in the lincoln college for a week or so and theres the option of staying on there for $36 a night - which is pretty good all things considered, but we want to keep our options open in the way of cheap hotels/motels - somewhere close to the CBD i guess, cos we wont have transport. i guess the length would be anywhere from a few days to a week cost permitting so a flat/apartment is probably out of the question. where abouts are the clubs and pubs in adelaide? within walking distance from lincoln college? and are there some decent trance/progressive clubs youz can reccomend?
hahaaah who has all the questions now

yeah im thinkin staying on at the college would probably be the cheapest option (hell they throw in breakfast too) not to mention the most convenient, cos we dont really have any way of lugging our bags around.
heh perth has a soda room too and we used to have 'the loft' a few years ago. interesting huh
might just have to take u up on that offer mista stamper... we'll show you south australians how to drink!!!!
(now THATS a challenge
)
Just for the record, Lincoln college is an absolute hole! Please, for the love of God, stay at St Marks. It's the same price I think. All the buildings at Lincoln are concrete hunks of sh#t. At St Marks you get gardens, nicer rooms, it's just sooooo much better.
Look at www.stmarkscollege.com.au
As far as night life goes, if you're looking for something that resembles trance go to Chemistry at Heaven II on Thursday nights. Some DJs are a little commercial, some a little hardcore, but sometimes you get some true trance played. And they rotate the DJs every 45 minutes or so. Last week they had Push - Strange world (2000 remake), Cygnus X - Superstring (Rank 1 remix) playing at one point.
i dont know if we have the option of staying at st marks instead of lincoln college, cos we're going over for a conference and they've organised all the accomodation for us. I will ask about that tho.
