Review: Chris Liebing @ Ryze - May 10th, 2014

Arrived at Ryze at about 10:40pm, and they said they were not open yet. Every time I have attended an event at Ryze, they always open about an hour late. Got in at 11:05, and noticed that they added an extra bar at the back near the coat check. Good stuff! I wasn't familiar with the opening DJ's, but I felt they did a good job leading up to Liebing. I remember Alan Fitzpatrick - Skesis being played . Liebing came on at 1:30am, and damn.... what a techno beating! I haven't heard techno like that in a while, and it was exactly what I needed Most of the crowd was nice and seemed to be well into the music. A couple of fights broke out which I thought was odd...come on people... STFU and dance!! Liebing closed the place down at 5 am with the club still fairly busy. Overall, a great night of hard techno and best of all, great friends!

P.S. They really need to add a couple of fans in there, it was scorching.

too bad liebing and luke were at dif venue's in toronto last night

speechless is a good word ! that was one of the better shows i been to, not to mention free beer was being handed out !

First couple hours of his set were great then it just got repetitive so we left.

This club honestly consistently has the worst lighting I've ever experienced at a club. Seriously, turn the fucking strobes off, please and THANK YOU!

Another scorching hot night on the dance floor as well. There was a huge fan above the new bar at the back that was turned off the entire night? I honestly don't get the logic behind this. Trying to sell more drinks???

It'll take a huge booking to get me back to this club.

Hernan vs Warren? Fucking hell...

You need to come by the front of the booth.. cool breeze all night coming from the stairwell.

This place is a dump but it still has a certain appeal to me
