little timmy was doing terrible in math and his mother was getting quite worried about timmy's grades. next year, timmy's mother put him in a catholic school hoping that their disciplines would help him in his studies.

little timmy came home from his first day at school, didn't speak a word to his mother, went upstairs to his room, shut the door and began studying. his mother was extremely puzzled by this, timmy had never studied math willingly before. after dinner, little timmy again went upstairs to his room, shut the door and continued studying.

this continued for until the end of the school year without fail and little timmy came home with his report card, gave it to his mother, then went upstairs and continued to study. his mother looked at the report card and saw that timmy had received an A. her curiousity finally got the better of her and she had to find out what caused this incredible change.

"timmy was it the nuns?" she asked.

"no." said timmy.

"was it their disciplinary teachings?" she asked.

"no." replied timmy.

"was it their teachings of God?" she asked.

"no." replied timmy.

"then what was it???" she asked, frustrated.

"well mom...when i got to the school and saw this guy nailed to a plus sign...i knew they meant business."
