Random Questions...
1) If I get tickets to PVD, can i skip the line?
2) If I don't get tickets, are there any assumptions about the line? I remember at SF the line started an hour and a half b4 doors opened, but at Exit, it was nothing when the place opened...I want to go in time for PVD, any suggestions on arrival time?

see the thing is about arriving early, is that i did that for picotto and NO ONE WAS THERE
but then you never know...
also, this advanced ticket thing, they are being very stingy since they are limited #s...and i read that they are selling out ASAP?

Factory had a huge line because the bouncers were really slow at searching their customers. They weren't use to the crowd and were probably expecting to find alot more drugs like normal nights at Factory. It was also PVD's first return to NY since Twilo. Roxy's search isn't too bad so the line should move after one is formed.
I don't remember too much of a line at Exit but I got there really early for PVD and the place was empty.
It's hard to predict the turnout for this. Roxy isn't too busy on Friday nights so it should be a strictly PVD crowd. Very high chance it's going to be so packed in there that it's going to be a 30 minute mission just to get to the bathroom. Get your tickets early to be safe.
i think there will be a line. on the other hand, roxy is usually quick at searches. though since it is a made party i don't know if it will be the same staff?
exit was quick, cuz its HUGE... roxy wont be too bad either cuz roxy's pretty big too.. i wouldnt worry too much..

Where do I get $40 tix for PVD or Tiesto without the ticketmaster surcharges?

why is pvd so much more? i paid 40 for sf, 35 for exit (the exit promoter didn't make commission off me cuz he was nice), and now 40 for limited presales + a surcharge? and if i don't get them in time, 50 bucks?

I would suggest going early. Twilo had huge lines for PvD towards the end. I didn't go to PvD at Exit...but they are generally fast with getting people in the door there.... Look at it this way....can't hurt to get there early....if you show up and there isn't a line walk around the block and hit up a bar or grab some last min items like gum from a corner store and chill out for a bit. Better to get there early then wait in line for a long ass time...well at least IMO it is. I would rather be in there and claim some seating area and wait while it gets hopping then to be standing outside while peeps are going in taking up all the room. Roxy is gonna be PACKED so you might as well enjoy the space before it gets hopping.
the last time pvd was at twilo i went at 5AM, the line wasn't bad but they kept saying they weren't letting people in so people got off line, but they let me in about 1/2 hour later...

SF line was HUGE! ask s0t. omg. Im glad I cut with him. The line was approxx... 4 blocks long.
Exit was nothing. like 4 minutes line hihihi...
I guess I`ll be arriving @ Roxy around 11 or so.

the line for factory was rediculous, luckily i saw lizzy and her crew and cut about 25 ppl then did beer runs lol.
back to the topic at hand... go to satellite records in nyc... i got my tiesto and pvd tickets for $41 each, they need that 1 dollar i guess lol. tiesto tickets are sold out, so hurry up for pvd.
