Can anyone tell me me the difference between the Technics RP-DJ1210 and RP-DJ1200 besides the price??
I would have posted this in the DJ Booth section but that headphone thread in there is starting to become a bit of a joke.
this is all i know about the rpdj1200: quote'
Technics RP-DJ1200
Headphones are a difficult thing to review objectively. Every DJ has his or her personal preference, and out of all the headphones I've used, these happen to be mine.
For your 100 you get the Technics brand name, which as you well know is highly respected in the DJing world. These headphones are built like their decks: to last. The build quality is excellent, unlike those of another certain large Japanese electronics company. In addition to the build quality they are extremely comfortable to wear for long periods, ideal for those marathon mixing sessions. And of course, they look really cool as well!
But what about the sound quality? Well, as DJ headphones go, they are certainly in the premier division. In fact, there is only one other headphone that I can think of that beat the RP-DJ1200 in this department. They have very accurate and deep bass, and clear, crisp mids and highs. In addition, they block out pretty much all external sound and will stretch to very loud volumes for use in particularly noisy environments. '
i didnt see ne reviews on the 1210, maybe u should PM gluegun hehe?
he seems to be a god when it comes to headphones
*cougharghmfreakarghmcough*
... j/k if he read this
Don't PM Gluegun. He'l tell you that Sennheiser is the only way. Get what suits you. I dont think there are any diffs in the types except the 1200's are black with a straight cord and the 1210's are silver with a coiled cord.
I have the 1210's. They are wonderful!
